[★★] Had potential until author-nim disappeared all of a sudden. The last update was a year ago.
[★★★] The writing quality dropped in volume 2.
[★★] Cliche, not my cup of tea.
[★★★] The pacing is horrid.
[★] The system is unbalanced.
[★★] The MC has thick plot armor, and it's getting out of hand. He's becoming a Mary Sue.
Thud...thud...thud...thud
No matter how many times Kim Bora slammed her head unto the edge of her desk, nothing came to mind. Whether she amped up the rhythm or slowed down the tempo, still, she has no direction where to go from here. Such is the woes of a low-rated 22-year-old webnovel author trying to make it in the industry.
Kim Bora lifted her head. "Is it midnight already?"
She pulled up her document tab and stared back at the scary, abysmal, white, empty page on her monitor. She could feel the radiation burning the swollen part of her forehead from all her pounding. Some post-it notes glued to the wall even fluttered away from all her rumbling. Leaving them untouched on top of the desk with nonsensical scribbles. All in all, they were just as blank as the one displayed on screen.
Frustrated, Kim Bora growled. "Why is nothing getting into my head!"
She ran her hands through her sable black hair, disheveling her tightly wrapped bun as it unraveled by her shoulders. They were oily and greasy from not having to shower for days, and yet she couldn't care less about her flushed face. Even if her breath smelled like booze, or when there were bottomless circles under her eyes. The only thing keeping her together well awake tonight was the hefty amount of beer on her left. She kept reaching for it whenever she read a comment that pissed her off.
Glug Glug Glug
Two—three empty half bottles finished, and many more to come from her right.
Kim Bora placed her fingers on the keyboard once again to switch tabs. By then, she noticed the bent-out shapes of her nails from all the nail biting she had done. It even reached her skin and dripped blood over.
"Yuck! When did this happen? hic!" Hiccups finally took hold of her by the drinks, yet she paid no mind to them.
It's been hours since she waited for the creative juices to flow. Days since inspiration betrayed her and weeks since she quit her part-time jobs to focus on this. Still, nothing came out of it. Not a single word on a page or an idea on a post-it note. For the first time in her life, she felt powerless, mournful even, that she might not be able to publish anymore.
Kim Bora slumped down in her chair as if drowning in misery.
'Maybe I'll get better if I find positive comments on my works.' she thought, as she opened the comments of one of her better-rated webnovels.

[★★] The romance between the characters is a bit lackluster.
"That's because we haven't reached that point yet, Hic!" Kim Bora rolled her eyes.
[★★] I've read up to chapter 100. It's too long and boring.
"Why do you keep reading then?"
[★] This webnovel is all over the place, the MC is stupid, he doesn't have character development, and all of it just doesn't make sense. At least make it accurate to the skills you gave him, he should be overpowered by now, but because of some plot device bullcrap, he's weak and useless. Everybody around him is fighting for him instead. When is the weak-to-strong tag gonna come up???
"It's a slow burn!" Kim Bora rose to her feet. "And that's the point! Hic! That's the charm of this webnovel! He hides his power and uses people because it's easier! Was my writing not obvious? Damn it!"
Kim Bora threw a beer at her computer screen. She then shoved the bottles aside from her desk as they shattered into fragments from below. Making a hazard zone out of her room. Swayed by alcohol and fury, she continued to throw a tantrum by jerking off every post-it note on the wall. She let out a piercing screech that could be heard down the hall.
"Why can't these people understand what I'm getting at?! They just keep giving me low ratings!" Kim Bora thrashes, staggering back.
At that moment, she saw her life flash before her eyes as she fell down. A notebook stuck to the floor caught her feet, thrusting her upwards with her toes in the air. It felt like time had stopped right there and then, as if a slow-motion filter was on to capture her tragedy.
The last thing she saw was the monitor turning off, shrouding her vision in complete darkness.
