Chapter 36 - Author’s Note — "Closing of the Arc"

With the conclusion of Chapter 35, this arc reaches its end.

What has unfolded so far was never meant to be a climax.

It was a disturbance—

the moment when the structure of the world first realized it could be questioned, altered, and resisted.

This arc was written to move slowly, sometimes uncomfortably so.

Not every conflict was loud.

Not every threat revealed itself clearly.

Much of what happened existed beneath the surface, where consequences form long before they are visible.

As the story moves forward into Arc 3, its direction will shift.

The scope will expand.

The weight of choices will increase.

Actions that once seemed isolated will begin to echo across systems far larger than any single character.

Some answers will finally take shape.

Others will fracture into more difficult questions.

If you have made it this far, thank you.

Thank you for your patience during the quieter chapters.

Thank you for trusting a narrative that does not rush to explain itself.

And thank you for staying with a story that often chooses uncertainty over comfort.

Arc 3 begins after this point.

From here on, the cost of continuation will no longer be abstract.

Not every loss will be reversible.

Not every consequence will wait to be understood.

What was once personal is about to become systemic.

And this time,

it will not be only Aster who is forced to endure the price.
