Chapter 51 - future idea

As the old man entered the house and disappeared from sight, Leo opened the system shop and bought a broken bone healing bandage that cost 100 system points per piece, then wrapped it around his right shoulder.

The moment the wrapping was completed, a warm current flowed out from the bandage and spread through his body.

Even though Leo was not fully healed yet, thanks to the pain suppressing effect of the bandage, he could move his right shoulder comfortably.

Deep down, Leo decided that right before losing this system, he would spend all of his system points and stockpile as many system items with useful functions like this as possible.

After that, Leo moved to follow the old man to watch what a looting process was actually like.

But the process did not look as cool as Leo had imagined at all. The old man was not interested in searching drawers or hidden storage spaces. Ever since he entered, the only thing he had been doing was breaking furniture into pieces and dragging them toward his own train.

Based on the information he had obtained from the little dragon, Leo had imagined a very different looting scenario.

"I thought you would rush into houses and search for treasure chests and Ice Train coin hidden in the station city."

At these words, the old man opened his eyes wide in surprise and looked at Leo.

"There are treasure chests and Ice Train coin in the city?"

At that moment, Leo realized that the system had not told players anything about being able to find treasure chests and certain hidden rewards in station cities.

According to the research done by the little dragon, there were close to ten white treasure chests, one green treasure chest, and one blue treasure chest hidden in this minimalist station city.

Since he had already talked about this with the little dragon before, Leo knew that beings without a train could not open treasure chests, so he was not interested in collecting them himself.

As for the Ice Train coin hidden in the city, even if he collected all of them, there were only 100 in total. And Leo did not need money. What he actually needed was for people to shop from him and grant him experience points. Because of that, collecting Ice Train coin would be like tripping himself.

Leo watched as the old man excitedly rummaged through nearby cabinets and drawers for a while, but after some time, the old man's excitement faded as if he had been deceived.

The old man's plan was to trick Leo by exploiting his pride. If he looked at Leo as if calling him a liar, he hoped Leo would reveal the location of a treasure chest in order to prove himself, just like what had happened outside.

Leo noticed this. He was not actually that prideful of a person. The main reason he had tried breaking the door again outside was eighty percent to test his skill. Still, he decided to give the old man a hint.

As the old man slowly rummaged through a drawer with movements that looked half like he had given up, Leo barely suppressed a forced smile.

On the wall right behind the old man was a fake Mona Lisa painting, but the truly interesting thing was not the Mona Lisa herself. It was the small blue coin resting between Mona Lisa's arms in the painting.

When the old man noticed Leo smiling while looking at something, he followed Leo's gaze and looked at the Mona Lisa painting on the wall.

A few seconds later, the old man took the painting down and turned it over.

The upper half of the coin visible in the painting had pierced through the back of the frame and was sticking out from there.

When the old man turned his head to thank Leo, he saw that Leo had already disappeared.

Because at that moment, an idea had come to Leo's mind.

With that idea, Leo went back to the shop and started buying all the songs he had loved in his previous life and that did not exist in this world.

At that time, he had already forbidden listening to the little dragon's thoughts and asked the little dragon a question.

"Hey little dragon. Let's say a customer comes, I am definitely not talking about myself, and buys a music cassette from me, then copies that cassette and starts selling the copies. Does the system have any protection against that?"

[Of course, master. If someone attempts to copy and sell content obtained from the system, they will be instantly erased by the system.]

After pausing for a second, Leo shrugged and started buying famous anime.

"Then let's say before that person starts copying and selling, I sold a customer low quality goods, and the system punished me by shutting itself down."

This time, the little dragon remained silent for a long time.

[Master, I believe you just found a system loophole. Just as expected of you, master! Master, would you like me to submit this system loophole as a report to the system immediately? If your report is approved, the experience bar of your current level will be instantly filled as a reward.]

"Hahaha congratulations to us... But no!"

[No? You do not want me to report it?]

"No, do not report it."

[I cannot understand you, master. Why do you not want me to report it? You could level up immediately... Sir, may I connect to your mind?]

"No, I don't let you to connect. As for the answer to why; if we report this bug to the system now, the system will give us 5600 experience points."

[Is that not wonderful?]

"Try to be a bit smart like your master, little dragon. What if we wait to gain a few levels before reporting this bug. Just imagine it, we could gain millions of experience points at once. We could skip months of hard work."

[Oww... I think you found another bug as well, master!!! You are amazing and very intelligent!]

"Hahaha, you finally understand. Praise me more."

[Your handsomeness melts the snows of the glacial world, sir.]

"Yes... I don't deny that my handsomeness has such side effects. As expected from an artificial intelligence created by the system, you truly understand me."

While Leo continued fooling around with the little dragon, he decided that the moment the system changed, he would establish a mysterious company and publish all the movies, songs, books, and other works of art he had stockpiled.

If things went well, Leo could quickly become the richest person in the world.

Just as he was thinking that, Leo felt a movement in his chest, then heard the sound of an old building collapsing, and saw a red thread of bad luck with a radius of one centimeter coming toward him.

At that moment, Leo felt a sense of urgency.

He realized that as soon as possible, he needed to increase his system by one or two more levels and purchase things like films with high image quality and multiple language options, AAA level big games, and books translated into 200 languages.
