They brought home around twenty rabbits from the forest, along with several green plants that Roxanna thought looked like mustard greens.
She wasn't completely sure about the plants, but Calen ate them first to prove that they were not poisonous. In truth, he didn't really understand why she even wanted to eat plants, but he did it anyway to make her feel safe.
"Dear Lord… was it all of you who cleaned this place last night?" Roxanna gasped when she saw her hut. Before, it had been full of disgusting trash, but now, it was completely clean.
There wasn't a single piece of leftover meat scattered on the floor, and all of her clothes had been washed and hung outside to dry. The hut also no longer smelled bad because Zeir had mixed flower extract into the water and sprinkled it all over the floor.
"I'm such a great cleaner!" Calen said proudly.
"A great cleaner, my ass!" Luan snapped right away. "You were the only one lying around outside while the rest of us cleaned everything!"
