**Episode 6 – *"The First Awakening"***
## **(Lucian & Isha)**
Isha barely slept after Lucian disappeared into the night.
Her mind kept replaying everything:
The ruins.
The attack.
The mark glowing impossibly bright.
Lucian's eyes when she saved him.
His voice whispering, *"I'm terrified."*
Since when did princes of darkness fear anything?
And why did she feel like…he wasn't afraid of the enemies.
He was afraid **for her**.
By morning, her wrist still glowed faint silver.
Not bright, but warm.
As if someone unseen kept touching it.
Isha traced it gently.
"I don't know what you're turning me into, Lucian…"
Her phone buzzed, snapping her out of her thoughts.
An unknown number.
She frowned and answered cautiously.
"Hello?"
A familiar voice sighed.
"You really should stop answering unknown calls."
Her heart jumped.
"Lucian—?!"
"Come outside," he said softly.
"I'm on your rooftop."
---
## ⭐ **On the Rooftop**
Isha rushed upstairs, pushing open the door to the terrace.
Lucian stood with his back to her, obsidian coat fluttering in the morning wind.
He didn't turn around when he said,
"You shouldn't stare at me like that."
"I'm not staring."
"You are," he said quietly. "Your heartbeat changes when you see me."
Her cheeks flushed.
How could he always say things like that without hesitation?
Lucian finally turned.
His eyes were softer today—not glowing, but holding something… warmer.
Like he hadn't slept just as much as she hadn't.
"I came to train you," he said. "The council won't stop."
Isha nodded.
"What do I need to do?"
Lucian stepped closer—too close—and gently touched her wrist.
The crescent mark pulsed.
"First," he whispered, "you need to understand the bond."
The wind stilled.
Her heartbeat quickened.
"What bond?" she asked.
He tilted his head slightly, eyes piercing hers.
"The celestial bond between us."
"The one the moon activated."
"The one that makes your mark respond to my presence."
Isha swallowed.
"And what does it…do?"
Lucian stared at her, the silver of his eyes deepening.
"It ties our energies together."
"Our emotions."
"A part of our souls."
Her breath caught.
"That's…dangerous."
"Yes," he whispered.
"For both of us."
His fingers brushed her wrist again.
She felt a rush shoot through her chest.
He inhaled sharply.
"This is why I shouldn't touch you," he said softly.
"It makes the bond stronger."
"Then…stop touching me."
"I can't," he admitted, voice barely audible.
Isha's cheeks warmed.
Her heart did a foolish leap.
Lucian stepped back abruptly, snapping the tension.
"Let's begin."
---
## ⭐ **Training Begins**
Lucian guided her to the center of the terrace.
"Close your eyes," he instructed.
"Focus on the mark."
Isha obeyed.
The air felt strangely warm around her.
"Feel your heartbeat," Lucian whispered behind her.
"Feel your breath. Feel the energy beneath your skin."
She tried.
Nothing.
"I feel nothing," she muttered.
Lucian stepped closer—not touching, but close enough that she could *feel* him.
"Now try," he murmured near her ear.
Heat flooded her senses.
Her mark tingled.
Her breath hitched.
Silver light flickered on her wrist.
Lucian inhaled sharply.
"That's it," he whispered. "You're doing it."
Isha opened her eyes—
but stumbled.
Her legs felt weak.
Lucian caught her instantly—one arm around her waist, pulling her flush against his chest.
The contact ignited a surge of silver light from her wrist.
Both of them froze.
Lucian's breath brushed her cheek.
"Don't…move," he whispered, voice tight.
"If you move, I'll—"
"What?" she asked softly.
He shut his eyes.
"Lose control."
For a moment, neither spoke.
They just stood there, breathing the same air.
Isha realized her hands were gripping his shirt.
Lucian slowly, reluctantly, loosened his hold.
"Let's continue," he said, voice rough. "From a safer distance."
---
## ⭐ **A New Intrusion**
They trained for almost an hour—learning how Isha could sense danger, feel energy, and stabilize the mark.
She was getting better.
Lucian looked… proud.
But mid-training, the air shifted.
Lucian tensed instantly.
Isha stepped back.
"What is it?"
He didn't answer at first.
Then a low, mocking voice came from behind the rooftop water tank.
"Well… well… if it isn't the forbidden prince and his little moon-marked pet."
Isha's breath froze.
A tall vampire emerged—a man with dark red hair, wicked golden eyes, and a careless smile.
Lucian growled under his breath.
"Raven," he spat.
"What are you doing here?"
Raven flicked imaginary dust off his jacket.
"Heard the rumors," he said lazily.
"And I had to see for myself what kind of fragile little human could make *you* break a thousand-year decree."
His eyes slid to Isha.
She felt cold.
Raven smirked.
"She's prettier than I imagined."
Lucian stepped in front of her immediately.
"Don't even look at her."
"Oh?" Raven raised a brow. "Protective, are we?"
Isha peeked from behind Lucian.
"Who is he?" she whispered.
Lucian didn't break eye contact with Raven.
"My cousin."
Cousin.
That meant—
A royal vampire.
Raven clicked his tongue.
"Relax, Lucian. I'm not here to harm her."
He grinned.
"Though I *am* curious why the mark chose her."
He leaned closer.
Lucian blocked him so fast Isha didn't even see him move.
"Step back."
Raven laughed.
"You're in deeper than I thought. Look at you—standing like she's your queen."
Lucian's eyes flashed dangerously.
"She will never be yours to talk about."
Isha's heart skipped.
She didn't understand this jealousy—this protectiveness—but a flutter spread in her chest.
Raven turned his gaze to her with a slow smirk.
"So, little human—"
Lucian snapped,
"Say one more word, and I'll rip your throat out."
Raven lifted his hands, amused.
"Fine, fine. I'll leave—for now."
He winked at Isha.
"But you and I will talk soon."
Lucian growled,
"No, you won't."
Raven vanished in a burst of dark mist.
---
## ⭐ **After Raven Leaves**
Lucian's hands were still trembling.
Isha touched his arm gently.
"Lucian…what's wrong?"
He looked away.
"I hate him near you."
"Why?"
His jaw tightened.
"Because he wants what destiny gave to me."
Her breath caught.
Lucian stepped closer, expression raw.
"You're not just a chosen human, Isha."
His voice trembled.
"You're mine."
The words hung between them—dangerous, forbidden, undeniable.
Isha felt her heartbeat pounding violently, the mark glowing in response.
Lucian saw it.
He whispered,
"This is why I'm terrified."
She swallowed.
"Does…being 'yours' mean I belong to you?"
Lucian stepped even closer, their faces inches apart.
"No," he whispered.
"It means I belong to you."
Her breath stopped.
His fingers almost—almost—touched her cheek…
But he dropped his hand and stepped away.
"We should stop for today," he said tightly.
"Before I cross a line we can't come back from."
He vanished.
Leaving Isha breathless.
Shaking.
Wanting more.
