Rasengan Storm Gun involves wrapping layers of Wind Release Chakra around the arm, then forming a spiral tornado shape to attack and pierce enemies; its power is decent.
However, the attack range is only within five meters, and the biggest drawback of this technique is that it requires hand signs, unlike Rasengan which can be released without signs.
Nevertheless, some structural concepts of this technique can help complete the development of the Rasengan series of Ninjutsu; Ling already has inspiration, and perhaps she can design a Compressed Rasengan Storm Gun.
Although Ling could first design the Wind Release Compressed Rasengan Shuriken, Ling felt that constantly plagiarizing others' inspiration was not good; she wanted to prove that she could design her own series of Rasengan techniques.
