Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: Zhililiu: Phantom Sword

In dreams, it can be even more realistic; anyway, every day in her dreams, Chiri sees Six Paths Madara kneeling and begging for mercy, and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya weeping and pleading to be taken away.

During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto and Sasuke's Yin-Yang Release power was also bestowed by Otsutsuki Hagoromo, and after it was used up, neither of them comprehended Yin-Yang Release. Even in the new generation, no one has mastered Yin-Yang Release, leading to them being utterly crushed by the Ōtsutsuki.

Chiri opened the last scroll that Uchiha Chiri had given her. This scroll was about swordsmanship, and Chiri was very curious what kind of swordsmanship could be a scroll unto itself.

At a glance, Chiri looked somewhat bewildered. She hadn't expected Uchiha Chiri to be truly skilled; her self-created swordsmanship could indeed be a scroll unto itself, even enough to establish a new school.

This swordsmanship was undoubtedly not a specific set of sword techniques, but rather Illusionary Swordsmanship, similar to the Konoha-Style: Willow created by the eternal Genin, Maruboshi Kosuke.

However, Uchiha Chiri's Illusionary Swordsmanship had a full nine forms, while Maruboshi Kosuke only created one.

These nine forms were respectively Dream Butterfly, Cherry Rain, Autumn Leaves, Lingering Snow, Flowing Haze, Benevolent Rain, Triple Barrier, Blazing Sun, and Dark Moon.

Each Illusionary Sword Form could, through the movement of the blade, create corresponding genjutsu scenes, causing enemies to fall into illusion and then be slain with a single strike to the throat.

Dream Butterfly, as the name suggests, is similar to Dream Butterfly. When this form is used, the affected person will see Chiri transform into a large swarm of flying butterflies descending upon them, and then be slain in the illusion.

The subsequent Cherry Rain, Autumn Leaves, Lingering Snow, Flowing Haze, and Benevolent Rain are all similar, differing only in the visual scenes. These Illusionary Sword techniques are even more effective when used in their corresponding seasons and environments.

You can't have flying snow scattering in the middle of summer; wouldn't that make people notice something was wrong? That's why Uchiha Chiri created Illusionary Sword techniques corresponding to the four seasons.

As for Triple Barrier, as the name implies, it allows the enemy to see three continuous small mountains, making them feel unable to break through and powerless. This is a defensive counter-attack sword form.

Finally, Blazing Sun and Dark Moon are Illusionary Sword forms that can be used in all four seasons, with no restrictions or weakening throughout the day.

Blazing Sun can make the enemy feel as if they are staring directly into the sun for an instant, unable to open their eyes, and their throat will be slit in a flash.

Dark Moon, on the other hand, plunges the enemy into darkness, with their vision completely black, and only a faint crescent moon visible—that crescent moon being the sword blade.

It must be said that Uchiha Chiri is a genjutsu genius; to be able to play with genjutsu to such an extent is absolutely unique.

If Uchiha Chiri's Illusionary Swordsmanship is combined with Chiri's fast heavy blade, then no Jonin can withstand a single strike.

Unless they are an Elite Jonin or quasi-Kage level with profound genjutsu, facing Chiri, who has mastered Illusionary Swordsmanship and the fast heavy blade, they will definitely be continuously at a disadvantage, with no chance to use Ninjutsu that require hand seals.

Tomorrow, she has to report to Anbu, so tonight, her Shadow Clone will have to suffer a bit, working overtime to thoroughly learn the various sword techniques and genjutsu from Uchiha Chiri's scroll.

If not for Chakra limitations, Chiri would really like to create hundreds of Shadow Clone to help her cultivate. With Escaping Rabbit's Technique Reversal ability, there's no need to worry about backlash.

Fatigue and memory impact will both be reduced and sorted by Escaping Rabbit's ability before being received by Chiri, so there's no need to worry about being shocked into idiocy.

The reason Naruto's progress was so fast is largely due to Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu, which accounts for at least seventy percent of his success. Unfortunately, Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu is a forbidden jutsu, and Hiruzen Sarutobi, that old man, probably won't teach it to her.

Even if she traded merits for it, Hiruzen would disagree, fearing that Chiri would become an idiot or suffer from personality splitting due to Multiple Shadow Clone.

Just as Chiri's Shadow Clone were practicing Ninjutsu, swordsmanship, genjutsu, and nature transformation, and her main body was practicing the State of Forgetting, the Uchiha Clan Land was quite lively.

This was because Uchiha Chiri had emerged from her courtyard, which she hadn't stepped out of for a long time, and arrived at Shoya's home, where they were currently distributing and selling Exploding Tag missions.

"Shoya, where did all these Exploding Tag come from?"

Uchiha Chiri immediately saw several people taking out a large number of Exploding Tag from sealing scrolls and then repackaging them into other sealing scrolls.

"Lady Chiri, these are Exploding Tag given by Chiri. She wants us to secretly sell them to the Exchange Office. We plan to sell some through the Exchange Office and some through the Ninja Cat Clan."

Shoya didn't hide anything, because Chiri was their faction's biggest backer, and also a relative of Chiri, whom they followed.

"Chiri? It seems this little one has secrets I don't know about. Forget it, I won't ask too much. Who doesn't have a little secret?"

Chiri didn't intend to delve deeper. She didn't have many years left to live. Although she still looked very young, this ocular jutsu kept her aging cells in their peak state, but the number of cell divisions would not increase because of it.

"With so much money, the little one must have some plan, right?" Uchiha Chiri was curious what arrangements such a small person like Chiri could have.

Then Shoya proceeded to explain Chiri's analysis of the Uchiha's current predicament and her method for breaking the deadlock.

Uchiha Chiri was also deeply shocked. It was her first time seeing such a thorough analysis that delved into the essence, and such an incredibly brilliant way to resolve the situation.

Don't be fooled by her being a Kage-level expert who has lived for decades; her political wisdom couldn't even compare to a child from the modern world.

Because they didn't have education in that area, and from a young age, they were trained as killing machines. If you had your own Ninja Way, you were considered to have some thought.

You ask Ninja to engage in assassinations, frame-ups, and other conspiracies, and they might be good at it, but if you ask them to govern a country, handle internal affairs and public welfare, it would absolutely be the death of them.

Otherwise, Senju Hashirama would have unified the Ninja World long ago and made the Senju Clan the Celestial Dragons.

Even Senju Tobirama, whose political and strategic abilities were maxed out, never thought of persuading his elder brother to overthrow the Fire Country Daimyo and become the ruler himself.

You ask them to cause destruction, and they're good, but when it comes to production and economy, they're completely clueless. Otherwise, the Ninja villages wouldn't have fallen to the point of relying on the Daimyo's funding.

Ninja, who possess immense power, are forced to obey the commands of ordinary merchants and serve those wealthy and powerful commoners.

If they had even a little culture, they wouldn't be in such a situation. Zabuza Momochi, an Elite Jonin-level rogue Ninja, only dared to kill the great merchant Gato when he was seeking death and on the verge of dying.

Otherwise, he would be hunted with bounties across the entire Ninja World, with no place to hide.

Chiri thought it was also possible that the Ninja's mission system made Ninja accustomed to this high-paying job that could be obtained through strength. Laboring hard for production might lead to destruction by enemy Ninja villages, resulting in nothing.

Black Zetsu, that old schemer, definitely deliberately guided things this way. What he wanted was for Ninja to constantly fight and consume each other.

Because Black Zetsu later said that the history of Ninja was shaped by him, perhaps after Indra and Ashura split the Ninshū.

It was Black Zetsu who secretly told Indra and Ashura, these descendants who possessed extraordinary power but lacked any other skills, to adopt this model of accepting missions for rewards.
