Five Release Great Combination Barrage is a Ninjutsu for Ninja specializing in the Five Releases. It involves creating four Shadow Clones, with each clone using a different Release.
These are Fire Release's Fire Dragon Bullet, Water Release's Water Dragon Bullet, Earth Release's Earth Dragon Bullet, Wind Release's Wind Bullet, and Lightning Release's Lightning Roar. (This is a fan theory; who knows which Ninjutsu it's actually composed of.)
The five elemental Ninjutsu are combined in a way that enhances each other through mutual generation, making their power even greater.
Hiruzen Sarutobi indicated in the scroll that any combination of Five Release Ninjutsu could be used, but his recommendation was the five Ninjutsu listed above.
It also included one Chakra nature transformation corresponding to each of the five Releases. Although most of them overlapped with what Ling had already comprehended, the Lightning Release and Earth Release did not.
The penetrating quality of Lightning Release and the hardening quality of Earth Release allowed Ling to systematically learn nature transformation.
For the next two days, Ling was busy cultivating these two Ninjutsu and comprehending their nature transformations.
With the help of Shadow Clones, Ling prepared enough ink in a large gourd and then learned Super Beast Imitating Drawing.
Moreover, she combined it with Ink Manipulation Art, allowing her to control ink directly to form desired shapes without drawing on a scroll, and then use Super Beast Imitating Drawing to give them form.
This greatly reduced the time it took Ling to perform this Jutsu, and she could draw several Super Beasts at once.
Unfortunately, she had not comprehended the Yin Release's nature transformation of creation from nothing, otherwise the power of this Ninjutsu would be even greater.
As for the nature transformation recorded in the Rasengan scroll, Ling had indeed grasped a rudimentary form, but she needed more time to cultivate it.
She had also learned the Five Release Great Combination Barrage, but she hadn't learned the two nature transformations for Earth Release and Lightning Release, mainly because the time was too short.
Today was the last day; tomorrow, she would report to the Anbu and begin her 007-style work schedule.
So, today Ling specially prepared a sumptuous lunch, ready to bid farewell to her good days, but she didn't expect Shisui to suddenly visit.
"Ling, long time no see." Shisui looked tired, with deep dark circles under his eyes, making him appear extremely listless.
"Shisui, what's wrong with you?" Ling didn't know why Shisui was like this. Although she had noticed Shisui's poor mental state early on, Shisui would only brush off her questions.
"Nothing, just a bit tired from training." Shisui's originally bright and spirited eyes now looked similar to Kakashi's dead fish eyes. He just gave a weak smile in response to Ling's question.
"Training couldn't make you this tired. Did you join the Police Force?"
Ling felt that the only possible reason for Shisui's state was probably the relationship between Konoha and the Uchiha Clan.
If Shisui joined the Police Force, directly facing Konoha's malice towards the Uchiha and the conflicts between the Uchiha and Konoha, it could cause this.
"Haha, you could say that. I came this time because Elder Kazuya asked me to inform you to see him once; Elder Kazuya is dying."
Shisui felt some sadness about Kazuya's death, as he had received sufficient training resources and guidance within the clan thanks to Elder Kazuya's protection.
"Kazuya... old man, is he... dying?" Ling recalled the emaciated old man who had earnestly requested her to help the Uchiha Clan in the future.
During this time, Shisui was struggling to complete Root missions while also tirelessly caring for Elder Kazuya. Additionally, he sensed the Uchiha Clan's Hawk Faction elders stirring.
They seemed to be planning a coup during the upcoming Third Shinobi World War, taking advantage of Konoha's internal emptiness to depose the Third Hokage.
All of this weighed heavily on his young shoulders, although he had voluntarily chosen to bear it all, unlike Ling, who didn't care about anything, no matter how they fought.
In the original work, the Uchiha did not have a coup, and it was impossible now. How many Jonin did the Uchiha Hawk Faction have?
Not to mention there were also the strongly opposing Dove Faction and the Rescue Faction, and Uchiha Fugaku, the fence-sitting clan leader, also did not want a coup.
His stance was to support his own candidacy for Fourth Hokage while maintaining good relations with Minato Namikaze. No matter what, he believed it would solve the Uchiha's problems, or at least alleviate them.
"Then, let's go." Ling also wanted to hear what Uchiha Kazuya, this Dove Faction elder, needed to say to her. Was he going to entrust the clan to her before he died, asking her to take care of the Uchiha Clan?
Looking at Shisui leading the way, Ling felt that Shisui's spiritual energy and cellular energy had both weakened compared to before, but his Chakra volume had increased slightly. She guessed he was overdrawing his body for training.
"Shisui, don't overdraw your body for training. It will exhaust your future and easily lead to Bloodline Limit diseases."
Ling didn't want Shisui to die early. She had just managed to gather nine stable emotion providers, and only one more was needed for another burst.
"Mm, I know." Shisui looked back at the girl who was worried about him. Her soft hair swayed in the air, its ends tied with a red string, not scattered. Her cool little face was partially obscured by some strands of hair, like a rosebud swaying in the wind, which made Shisui momentarily dazed, then he smiled faintly.
Upon arriving at the Uchiha Clan's compound, Ling was not stopped this time, as her genius reputation was already well-known among the Uchiha.
Upon reaching Elder Kazuya's courtyard, there were many old men dressed in traditional Uchiha attire standing in the courtyard.
The one leading them was a man nearing thirty, with fierce and sharp eyes. Ling recognized him at a glance as Uchiha Fugaku, who had recently become clan leader.
About a dozen old men stood in three separate groups, but all turned to look at Ling as she arrived, their expressions varied.
Those with cold, scrutinizing expressions were the Hawk Faction elders, led by Uchiha Setsuna, an old man who had followed Uchiha Madara.
Those with calm expressions, looking at Ling with interest, were the Dove Faction elders, led by Uchiha Yashiro.
And those who looked at Ling kindly, but were the fewest in number, were the Rescue Faction elders, whom Ling didn't know. Originally led by Uchiha Kazuya, they were now led by Kazuya's younger brother, Uchiha Shoya.
"Go in quickly. My elder brother said he wants to see you one last time." Elder Shoya, who was a few years younger than Kazuya, kindly allowed Ling to enter the room.
It seemed they had all already visited Kazuya and were now waiting outside to witness the passing of a pillar of the Uchiha who had lived from the Sengoku period until now.
Ling didn't say much. After nodding in greeting, she entered Kazuya's living quarters.
Contrary to the expected darkness and chill, Elder Kazuya's living quarters were now bright as day and warm as spring.
This was because many braziers and oil lamps had been placed indoors, yet even so, they could not bring a shred of warmth to a dying person.
"Ho... is that Ling? You're finally here." A weak, raspy sound, as if from deep within his throat, emerged.
"It's me. What do you need me for, Elder Kazuya?"
Ling knelt on the tatami, showing no fear, her expression calm, much like a well-mannered young lady from a good family.
