Ling walked on the street, looking at Kakashi who was walking with his head down in front of him. In the perception of his Sharingan, Kakashi's current Chakra level was only that of a veteran Chunin, and his physical vitality was not strong.
Kakashi was nine years old, and currently only his White Fang Sword Technique and Lightning Release were somewhat impressive; everything else was at a normal Chunin level.
Arriving at a training ground near the Death Forest, Kakashi and Ling stood opposite each other. In Ling's hand was Ame no Habakiri, wrapped in Wind Release Chakra.
Kakashi held his white fang short sword, Lightning Release Chakra crackling, and watched Ling, who stood casually, with a solemn expression. He couldn't find any flaws at all.
"I'll be the referee. Make the confrontation sign."
Obito stood between the two, volunteering to be the referee. Neither Ling nor Kakashi had any objections.
"Ready! Begin!"
After Obito declared the start of the battle, he jumped to Rin's side, standing with her as she watched Kakashi with concern.
A wisp of breeze passed, and Ling instantly vanished from everyone's sight, moving at an incredible speed. Kakashi could only barely see an afterimage arrive beside him, feeling a chill down his neck, and instinctively raised his white fang short sword to block.
"Konoha Strong Whirlwind!"
Ling's voice and attack reached Kakashi almost simultaneously. Kakashi raised his sword to block, but was still swept away by Ling's horizontal kick.
The immense force caused his arm to inevitably contract, the back of the blade pressed directly against his shoulder, and then he was swept away by a strong gust of wind mixed with Wind Release Chakra.
Kakashi's feet couldn't touch the ground; he could only barely adjust his posture, preparing to land in a way that would minimize damage.
He felt intense pain in his shoulder. Although he had gathered Chakra for defense, it was too rushed, and being struck by the back of the blade directly numbed a large area.
Kakashi glanced at Ling in the air, noticing that Ling had instantly shattered the ground, and then her figure vanished from his sight. He then felt a turbulent airflow behind him.
It turned out that while Kakashi was still in the air, Ling had already used her monstrous strength technique to push her speed to its normal limit, arriving behind Kakashi in advance.
Kakashi was about to form a hand seal to use the Body Replacement Technique, but he was grabbed by the collar by Ling, and a sharp blade was held against his neck.
"You lost!" Ling didn't give Kakashi any time for tricks, directly relying on extreme strength and speed to overwhelm Kakashi, leaving him unable to react.
There was no time to use Shadow Clone or troublesome moves like the Head Hunter Jutsu; he was instantly defeated in one sequence.
In reality, it was normal. Ling's speed and strength would be challenging even for an Elite Jonin, let alone Kakashi, who was only an Elite Chunin.
It was a one-sided attribute suppression. Kakashi's ability to block the first attack, Konoha Strong Whirlwind, was already impressive; his muscle memory and battle instincts were excellent.
Unfortunately, he met Ling, who was a cheat. Obito and Rin were both somewhat stunned and reacted as if they had seen a ghost.
"I lost, but I want another round."
Kakashi felt he had underestimated her. He knew Ling was strong, but he hadn't activated his body with Lightning Release Chakra beforehand. Otherwise, he might have had room to struggle.
"That's already winning? I didn't even see it clearly." Obito hadn't activated his Sharingan, and like Rin Nohara, he only saw afterimages flash by before Kakashi lost.
"Then let's go again. You can prepare in advance."
Ling returned to her original position. This time, she prepared to let Kakashi attack first. Kakashi gathered Lightning Release Chakra and activated his body according to the Lightning Release secret technique in the White Fang Sword Technique, raising his speed, strength, and reaction speed to a higher level.
Kakashi formed hand seals, and after the smoke, he summoned three Shadow Clones. The three Kakashis charged towards Ling in a triangular formation, moving extremely fast.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!" Kakashi used Fire Release to create smoke, providing himself with an advantage.
"Beast Wave Palm!" Ling barely formed a hand seal, and a fierce whirlwind erupted from her right palm, scattering the Great Fireball Technique.
Ling's Wind Release mastery far surpassed Kakashi's Fire Release, and even though it was countered by Fire Release, she still scattered the Great Fireball Technique.
"Heh, underground?"
Ling sensed a Chakra approaching from underground and, without thinking, directly used Pain Sky Kick to shatter the ground within a ten-meter radius. Both the Kakashi underground and the three Kakashis in front of her instantly turned into smoke and disappeared.
And after the smoke, several Shuriken flew out, flying at tricky angles towards Ling's most difficult positions to parry.
"Clang, clang, clang!" Her Ame no Habakiri in hand, she unleashed several wind blades, striking down the Shuriken.
"A sneak attack from behind?"
Ling turned calmly to look at Kakashi, who was thrusting forward. Blue-white electric arcs crackled on his white fang short sword, as he swiftly slashed towards Ling.
"How is this possible! I can't move!" Kakashi looked at the Sealing Technique runes that suddenly appeared on the ground, spreading onto him, rendering him immobile.
"A simple light formation combined with a partial binding formation, easy to use and effective."
Ling had long ago set up the Sealing Technique array on the ground, waiting for Kakashi to jump into it. Although it only trapped a Shadow Clone for now.
"Bang!" Kakashi exploded into smoke, directly enveloping Ling to obstruct her vision.
"Above my head?" Ling noticed the sound of rushing air from above. Her Ame no Habakiri instantly unsheathed, unleashing hundreds of wind-attribute sword qi, covering a ten-meter radius above her head.
The sound of a Shadow Clone being cut apart came from above; clearly, it was another Shadow Clone. Kakashi was being overly cautious now.
Beneath a thick tree Root, Kakashi hid, observing Ling. After various probes by his Shadow Clones, he still hadn't found any weaknesses.
Most terrifyingly, despite his high-frequency attacks, Ling remained in her original spot, not moving an inch.
As for himself, his Chakra was now almost depleted; he could only launch one more attack, but he had no confidence whatsoever.
Whether it was Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, or Kenjutsu, he was no match. They were simply not on the same level.
Ling had actually discovered Kakashi's true location long ago, because under the Curse Power detection technique, every individual with a soul in the vicinity was clearly displayed before her eyes.
She merely wanted to see if Kakashi had developed Chidori yet. From the looks of it now, he hadn't.
Soon, Ling once again sensed Kakashi's movements. Kakashi used Earth Release: Earth Sink Technique, causing the ground within a five-meter radius around Ling's feet to collapse.
Ling naturally wouldn't stay put and wait to be buried alive; she easily jumped out. At this moment, Kakashi, holding his white fang short sword, instantly lunged at Ling in mid-air.
Ling immediately recognized that this wasn't Kakashi's main body, but a Water Clone. However, Ling pretended not to notice, allowing the Water Clone to approach, to see what else Kakashi had up his sleeve.
As Kakashi's Water Clone neared, Ling cut it apart with a single sword strike. The bursting water, controlled by Kakashi, attempted to envelop Ling.
