The next day at school Togata sits class as Riku patrols happily.
''A few days and the power's already gone to his head''. Ren sighs.
''C'mon let him enjoy this, he seems happy''. Togata says with a smile.
''Morning Rikuuu''. Two girls say as they walk in.
''Morning, you're late''. Riku says.
''Woah enforcing the law already?''. Hikaru asks.
''Sorry forgive us...You know you're the coolest''. The girl says.
''Hmm, I guess I am, I'll condone you two just this once, but only because you're both so pretty''. Riku flirts.
The girls giggle as they head to their seats. ''Thanks Riku''.
''Abuse of power already I see''. Tick sighs.
Togata just laughs as the teacher walks in and he brings out his books and gets ready for class.
After class he immediately packs his stuff to head out.
''Woah dude going already?''. Riku asks.
''Yeah, I'll be really busy this week so you'll be on your own a bit, sorry''. Togata says.
''No worries I won't let you down assistant''. Riku jokes.
''I trust you, see you guys''. Togata says walking out.
''Bye Togata''. Ren says.
Togata walks through the halls talking with Tick.
''The agenda is quite full today isn't it young master?''. Tick asks.
''Yeah, after school head home and start working on the specifics of the UFO, I'll meet you there when I'm done, now that the scandal as died down the government wants me straight back to work''. Togata says.
''You are needed in all places young master''. Tick says proudly.
''Guess so''. Togata sighs with a smile.
Elsewhere Rin leaves class as she looks at Okarun, Kinta and Vamola, overthinking.
''They seem normal...Maybe it didn't work last night...Or maybe it did and they don't want to tell me!''. Rin cries to herself. ''It didn't look like Sakata had fangs...Although I'm sure he isn't the vampire...Maybe it's Enjoji or Toriyama...''.
Rin sighs as she leaves the class. ''Why wouldn't they want to tell me who the Vampire is...Am I that weird?...But...If they won't tell me...There's nothing wrong with figuring it out myself''.
Suddenly she sees Togata in the halls and decides to follow him.
''This isn't stalking....It's just...Information gathering''. She tells herself.
She then sees him being interrupted as a girl stands in front of him.
Rin hides behind a trash can as though hiding from being seen although no one is watching her. ''Who is that girl?''. Rin asks herself.
''Mira...Hi''. Togata says surprised.
''Hey Togata...''. Mira says. ''I heard that your house still isn't finished and I'm sure you'll be a bit down so I just wanted to give you a cheer up gift''.
She hands him a small casserole neatly wrapped with a little heart on top.
Meanwhile Rin watches from aside.
Togata smiles as he takes it. ''Thank you...A lot''.
Mira beams with joy from the fact he took it. ''Of course! Tell me how you liked it, okay? Take care!''.
She walks off happily as Togata watches her.
''Oh my! You seem to be quite popular with the ladies now. I knew my little young master Togata would grow into a charming, dapper lad no woman could resist''. Tick jokes.
''What are you even saying, Tick…She's just being nice''. Togata sighs smiling as he walks into the workshop.
Tick chuckles as they enter the classroom.
Togata enters the classroom as Tick appears, arms behind his back. ''Straight to work shall we?''.
''We shall''. Togata says.
Meanwhile Rin pretends to walk around outside, secretly peeking into the class from the window occasionally.
The two start plotting charts and reviewing pictures of outer space for a bit, but Togata stares at the casserole where he put it on the table, not taking his eye of it as he smiles and blushes slightly.
''You must be quite hungry, because you haven't taken your eyes off that food for a while now''. Tick says.
''I don't know what you're talking about''. Togata replies with a small smirk.
''Oh really now? Well then before you burst from temptation it's better we try it shall we?''. Tick teases.
''I mean it's only logical is it not?''. Togata says sitting down and grabbing it.
''Well I just hope it's good, I've never let you eat something I have not cooked before but I must let you spread your wings I suppose''. Tick says.
He takes out the casserole, seeing a small note tucked beside it. It's got a heart drawn on it and reads. ''Enjoy ♡''.
He smiles slightly as he takes a bite.
''So how is it?''. Tick asks.
His eyes light up as he eats. ''Amazing!...''. He leans back, savoring the taste like he's transcending. ''Oh...''.
''Hmph! It cannot be better than mine, let me taste!''. Tick says flying into his body. ''Oh...Oh no!''.
Tick flies out crying. ''It is better than my own!''.
''Don't be dramatic Tick, I still love your cooking''. Togata says.
''No! It is as I feared! The touch of a woman in the kitchen can never be replicated by a mere man!''. Tick cries. ''Incredible!''.
''Yeah...I'm hooked''. Togata says with a smile.
''We must request for more!''. Tick says flying out.
Togata grabs him. ''Nuh-Uh, wait up...We can't be that desperate...I'll suggest it next time we meet''. Togata says with a sly smile.
''Indeed, Master Togata… Perhaps I'll never need to cook again. I believe there are many young ladies who would love to cook for you. With so many you would never go hungry''. Tick jokes.
''Uh huh''. Togata replies sarcastically.
He takes another bite smiling. ''Is this… what being popular feels like?''. He says mouth still full.
''I suppose so, although you were always popular to me''. Tick says.
''Aww that's why you're my number one''. Togata jokes.
''Young master! I am honored!''. Tick says dramatically.
Aira walks in, not seeing Rin outside. ''Hey, Togata''.
''Boss lady''. Togata says with a smile.
''Welcome miss Shiratori''. Tick says.
''What brings you here at this time of day?''. Togata asks.
''Nothing, I was just eating lunch and was wondering that you'd probably be in here eating alone so I just thought I'd join you...''. Aira says playing it cool.
''Well he is not alone, I would have you know the young master and I always share meals''. Tick says.
''Oh...Yeah I see that...No worries If I'm a bother I'll leave''. Aira says walking off slowly, pretending.
''Wait...Of course not...You can stay, the more the merrier I guess''. Togata says stopping her.
Her face twists into a devilish smile. ''Thanks''.
Suddenly Aira notices the casserole, and the heart on it. ''What's that!?''. She asks a little irritated.
Togata tries to play it cool. ''Oh, umm… just something a girl made for me''.
''A girl huh?''. Aira says walking over.
She pulls up a chair and sits across from him, taking a bite without asking.
Her eyes light up intensely. ''It's amazing!''. She says to herself.
But outside she controls herself. ''Whatever, it's not that good''.
Togata laughs as he watches her change her reaction immediately. ''Right…''.
Aira overthinks to herself. ''Ugh! It is amazing…This has to be that bitch Mira! She does take home economics. Her cooking is next level! The whole school knows! And she's never made anything for a guy before! She must like him! UGHH!...Why am I here anyway...Do I really like him?''.
Aira stares at Togata for a bit before sighing. ''Well It doesn't matter, I'll prove I'm better than that bitch cause I do not lose! And I'll make him like me so much he'll outright reject her!''.
''Eh ehm, yeah it's not as good as mine though''. Aira says.
''You cook miss Shiratori?''. Tick asks.
''Uhhh, yeah, and if you want I'll prove it''. Aira replies.
''Sure''. Togata says joking.
''Yeah and my cooking will blow your brain out of your skull! See ya!''. She says suddenly standing up and bolting out of the room.
''Ok… bye?''. Togata says confused.
Rin watches Aira bolt out from the room as she works up the courage to go in herself.
She finally does as she steps inside. ''T..Togata?''.
''Oh...Hey class rep''. Togata says.
''Miss Sawaki...Well it seems we have quite a lot of visitors today''. Tick says.
''I'm sorry for coming without your permission but...I just wanted to ask if the vampire whoever they are...If the blood thing worked, It's just that Takakura didn't mention anything.''. Rin asks.
''It's alright you can come in anytime you want...And no it didn't''. Togata sighs. ''I'm sure Okarun just forgot''.
''Oh that's unfortunate, but I guess I expected it...Sometimes no regular blood will do''. Rin says.
''What do you mean no regular blood?''. Togata asks.
''Well we can't see it obviously but to a vampire some people's blood is sweeter than others, some so much so it can awaken one, but it's just a theory''. Rin says.
''No no, it makes sense but...That means I.....The vampire would have to go around tasting everyone's blood''. Togata sighs.
''Yeah that's a problem...Usually vampires can smell it''. Rin says.
''Well thank you for the information, and don't hesitate to come to me if you have any more ideas...You're never a bother, if Momo and Okarun trust you, I do''. Togata says.
Rin is surprised by the statement. ''T-Thank you...So...Can I ask you one thing?''.
''Go ahead''. Togata replies.
''What happened yesterday and why were you talking weirdly...?''. Rin asks coming closer.
Togata smiles. ''Long story, maybe for another time, unfortunately I have to go now, excuse me''.
''Oh...Of course...Thank you''. Rin replies.
''No thank you''. Togata says with a smile. ''You can let yourself out when you feel like, bye enjoy your day''.
Suddenly Tick dusts off something as the dust causes Rin to sneeze.
Togata immediately takes out a handkerchief from out of thin air and covers her nose. ''Bless you''. He says with a smile.
''Oh my, incredible manners as always young master''. Tick says. ''Good day miss Sawaki''. Tick says with a bow de-materializing.
''H...Thank you very much!''. Rin shouts out as Togata leaves.
She walks out of the class thinking to herself. ''He has to be the vampire isn't he? Everything matches...He's so calm, so polite, those reflexes back there...Always dressed well, he's always well behaved and...He's as handsome as one to say the least....''. Rin thinks blushing slightly.
''It's obvious even that girl earlier...She gave him some food...And she was acting really nervous...She must like him....So could it be a love potion!?''. Rin shakes her head to remove the thought. ''But I can't count out Enjoji...I should go investigate him too...It's not stalking just investigating''.
She walks off looking for Jiji.
