Togata walks away from Mr Mantis Shrimps' farm disappointed.
''Young master are you alright?''. Tick asks worried. ''It's fine Tick, this won't get us down now will it''. Togata replies with a smile.
''No it will not!''. Tick says with determination.
Togata lies in bed on the Monday morning glasses off, hair messy, bed messy and sulking after the harsh news the weekend before.
''Young master Togata your breakfast is ready! You're going to be late!''. Tick shouts flying into the room.
''Oh my!''. Tick shouts.
''I can't do it Tick, what's the point!? You heard him! There are no spaceships on earth, not like I could buy one if I could get it!? What are we even doing here!?''. Togata shouts as he rests on the bed depressed.
''You must not give up hope young master! We can just go back to square 1! We'll build our own? Can we not?''. Tick asks.
Togata rises from the bed. ''Build our own! HAHHHHAA''. Togata laughs hysterically.
''I've never built anything! The only thing I've done is sell alien technology! My dad would be so disappointed! I'm a fraud Tick!''. Togata says.
''Do not say such young master! You are incredibly intelligent and the best in the world at what you do! If anyone can build their own spaceship you can!''. Tick says.
Togata rests back on the bed ''You're just saying that''.
''I am not! You can do it! You know why!?''. Tick asks.
Togata nods no.
''Because you have me! We've faced much more before and always overcome! I know your strength young master!''. Tick says.
Togata doesn't listen he just lies there.
''HMMPHM!''. Tick grunts as he goes to lift Togata off the bed. Togata holds unto the bed resisting.
''You are going to school! You will compose yourself and you will achieve your goal Togata!''. Tick shouts.
''I can't do it Tick! I don't know anything about building a damn spaceship!? Where will we start!''. Togata says.
''We will start wherever we can! I cannot sit here and watch you waste your potential!''. Tick grunts pulling.
Togata manages to overpower him and land back unto the bed.
''You know who your parents would be disappointed in!? A son who fails once a gives up immediately, unfortunately you've always been like this even since you were a child!''. Tick shouts.
''Uh huh''. Togata says tiredly.
Tick hovers above him arms crossed. ''Yes! And I've always been there to pick you up as I always will young master! We are not giving up!''.
''Why can't you just let me be sad like everyone else!? I've done all I can and still we end up here! I've worked everyday! Fought everyday, I can't do this anymore I'm done! Maybe it's not meant to be!''. Togata says.
''And if it is not we will twist the clock of fate with our own bare hands! As we have always done before!''. Tick shouts.
''Just let me give up anyone else would!?''. Togata asks.
''Well unfortunately you are not everyone else young master! You are better! You have a gift! That is why I expect nothing from you than perfection as I always have do you hear me!?''. Tick shouts.
''Yeah...''. Togata says blankly as he lays on the bed. Tick huffs and he flies away.
Togata sulks for a week doing nothing but watching TV.
Tick comes into the room occasionally giving him food, which Togata finishes immediately.
After a week has passed Tick comes into the room. ''Well you've sat for a week doing nothing are you happy?''. Tick asks.
''It's time I act my age Tick, you told me that, move you're blocking the TV''. Togata says as he shoves a piece of food in his mouth.
''That is quite enough young man! You are going out whether you like it or not!''. Tick shouts as he grabs Togata and manages to pull him off the couch as the two fly away out of the mansion into the sky.
''Stop....Where are we going!''. Togata shouts. ''Somewhere you should have gone a long time ago''. Tick replies angrily.
He flies Togata to a cemetery and places him in front of two graves.
''Why are we here what wanna bury me early?''. Togata says sarcastically. ''No! Read boy!''. Tick shouts as he points at two graves in front of him as he hands him his glasses.
Togata puts them on and looks in front of him. His face lights up surprised.
''Tick, how did you''. Togata asks.
''No need to ask young master, so tell me is this how they would want their son to be, or would they want you to avenge them!''. Tick says.
Togata looks at himself, in home clothes stained shirt and sandals.
Togata sighs and laughs. ''I look like a deadbeat''.
''Indeed!''. Tick says with a smile.
Two new graves deck the cemetery, Here Lies Tom Toriyama and Natasha Toriyama.
Togata sheds a tear but quickly controls himself.
''So we're going on?''. Togata asks. ''For them young master!''. Tick reminds.
Togata runs over to go hug Tick.
''Thanks Tick you're the best, how did you know that was all I needed?''. Togata asks.
''I know all young master, I know all''. Tick says proudly.
''Although, how expensive was it to move them here?''. Togata asks with a smirk.
''Eh ehm, all I can say is we're in need of funds''. Tick says.
Togata puts his glasses back on. ''Then let's get busy shall we?''.
''There you are young master! I see that look in your eyes! What is the plan!?''. Tick says.
''It won't be easy, and I can't promise I'll do it quickly but we've got this, hope you're ready for the ride''. Togata says.
''Ugh, you offend me young master! Of course I am! I always have!''. Tick says.
''Great lets go''. Togata says. ''Your manners young master?''. Tick says.
Togata looks back and picks up a flower throwing it unto the graves.
''Of course how could I forget!''. Togata says mimicking a posh accent.
''Indubitably!''. Tick says.
Tick flies the two back to the house.
Togata Montages through his actions.
''I read online that Kami high is one of the only schools in the area without a science club, Schools compete with other schools in the science fair, If I can join it's an excuse to work more even during school hours''. Togata explains.
''First we need to speak to the principal, we'll explain why we haven't been in school''. Togata says. ''Of course it won't affect our grades!''. Tick says proudly.
''Then we'll create the club, we'll speak to the potential club members outside of school, I don't want Queen-sensei suspicious of me''. Togata explains. ''Indeed she is quite intimidating''. Tick exclaims.
''So want in?''. Togata says sitting at a table with some students.
''You want us to join the club? Of course! I heard we actually had one before but never win the competitions anyway it would be great to have someone like you on the team''. A boy says.
The people gathered at the table eat like it's their last meal.
''Oh my what a lack of etiquette!''. Tick exclaims to Togata.
''One problem though, I want to be the only person doing the work, it's just a preference thing''. Togata says.
''Uhh why? I have no problem with it of course but it'll be a bit unfair''. A girl asks.
''No worries, I've spoken to the principal, he won't bother us, all we'll need to do is submit a monthly project, take a picture and attend some events, but of course, you guys will get your credit as well''. Togata says.
''Sure dude, free extra credit, no work? I'm in''. Another boy says happily.
''Yeah same here''. Another boy says. ''Sure''. A girl replies.
''Great, enjoy your meal''. Togata says as he gets up.
''You're not eating with us?''. A girl asks blushing nervously.
''Maybe another time...I have things to do, but I'll see you guys in school''. Togata says with a smile.
''Well excellent negotiating young master, and what would be the last step of this master plan?''. Tick asks.
''Research, and more work''. Togata replies with a smile.
''I believe you're forgetting one last thing''. Tick says.
''What?''. Togata asks.
''Your recently acquired allies, you've been missing ever since that day, I'm sure they are worried''. Tick says.
Togata face palms. ''Ugh, the group, you're right, I owe them don't I?''. Togata asks.
''A gentleman must keep his promises, I feel you care for them, and they have went out of their way to aid you, I believe you have to repay them in a way that is only fair''. Tick teases.
''Yes indeed''. Togata says smirking.
''Or could it be you just want to stay near them, as you enjoy their company?''. Tick asks.
Togata doesn't reply he just smiles.
Togata enters the school one morning gossip spreading per usual as he enters the class that will be the new science club.
''How do you like it?''. Togata asks. ''It's a bit tacky but nothing I cannot fix''. Tick replies proudly.
''I'm sure of it''. Togata says with a smile
''Here we go, just need to finalize one more thing''. Togata says as he leaves.
He stands on the roof of the school, paper mapping the floor as he plans how the spaceship will look.
''Ah they have arrive young master''. Tick says.
Togata turns around. ''Hey everyone''. He says with a smile.
''What the hell man what's with all the mystery!''. Momo shouts.
''Where have you been?''. Okarun asks.
