Togata walks down the halls holding Aira as she struggles to walk. The mist getting thicker as they go forward.
''Do you even know where you're going genius?!''. Aira says sarcastically. ''Yeah. We need to find the person who's still sustaining the empty space, AKA the final boss or whatever, kinda like a video game''. Togata says with a smile as he remembers something.
''Uh huh, going to a video game for inspiration? Nerd, So how are we gonna find this boss anyway?'' Aira says.
''Yeah, have a better idea? Plus yes, a video game. And in video games, the boss always resides in his chamber, and you can usually locate them by following minions or residue from the boss's power, and voila! The mist''. Togata says sarcastically as he waves his hand.
''So we're going into the thing that makes us pass out!?''. Aira asks.
''Yes, if you want to get out of here that is, mask on by the way, it will help you keep it out''. Togata explains.
Aira immediately transforms her mask forming around her mouth. ''And what about you?''.
As the two walk further down the hall the steam gets thicker. Togata sighs and does a hand sign breaking his finger again he winces in pain.
''AHHHH! What the hell!?''. Aira shouts.
''I can't transform now I have to save my energy for whatever we meet in there, but the pain should keep me conscious''. Togata says.
''You're insane''. Aira says.
''Yeah, yeah''. Togata replies.
The two walk further down into the school, and at a point it breaks off, wood now replaces the stone walls and ceiling, the steam gets even thicker almost blinding, and the journey into the depths continues.
''Is that a bathhouse?''. Aira says.
''I guess we're getting close''. Togata says as he continues walking.
''So what's your deal anyway?''. Aira asks.
''My deal?''. Togata replies confused
''Yeah, so you expect me to believe you're just a nice guy that breaks his fingers for the greater good? No need to pretend no one's here, just tell my why you're even here and why you need all the attention!''. Aira asks impatiently.
''I..I really don't understand why everyone doubts me, I guess its hard to believe I have good intentions but there's no need to be suspicious, you know why I'm here, I need your group's help getting a spaceship, and helping people? That's just something I choose to do on my own, kind of like you right? No explanation needed''. Togata replies.
''Yeah right, this is different I do it because I was chosen by heaven! I will rid this school of demons!''. Aira says in determination.
Togata rolls his eyes sarcastically. ''Uh huh''.
''If you really want to help people then help me by leaving the school or getting yourself embarrassed not like you care about the attention anyway''. Aira says.
''In my well, field of work It's important I keep up my reputation, in science you're only as good as your peers say you are, if you have a new discovery? Check it with other scientists, if they think you're crazy then you are, and coming here didn't help much, it made me look childish, a little teenage boy who couldn't grow up, not like I care anyway one of my main goals is to help people deal with the supernatural, can't tell them about that though''. Togata explains.
''Why are you telling me all this anyway?''. Aira asks.
''Momo showed me that if you want someone to open up you do first''. Togata says.
Aira is immediately pissed. ''Ugh! Momo this Momo that! If I hear that sluts name again I'll!''.
''Calm down I won't say it then''. Togata says cutting her off.
Why do you hate her so much anyway?''. Togata asks.
''It's Ayase's fault that I'm in this mess in the first place. after getting me involved in her problems with the aliens she made me get caught in the halls in my underwear!''. Aira complains.
''Wait...You were one of the students from that incident?''. Togata asks.
''Even you heard about it!? My reputation is ruined!''. Aira shouts.
''You're overreacting''. Togata says.
''Overreacting!? She's the reason no one even looks at me now and my friends think I'm crazy and stopped talking to me! Now I'm a nobody''. She says irritated.
''I see, I'm sorry..I promise I'll help you anyway I can''. Togata says.
''You better!''. Aira shouts.
''Aira...I get having to put on a mask for people's trust and admiration but what you want isn't fans it's friends, trust me''. Togata says continuing.
''Psh I'm not gonna take advice from someone without one''. Aira says.
Togata is a bit hurt by the statement. ''Yeah whatever''. He says in a cold manner.
''Uh? Are you mad? Didn't know that could get under your skin that much''. Aira says laughing.
''Can you like shut up for a minute? I'm trying to think''. Togata says irritated.
Aira groans in annoyance. ''Fine, didn't want to talk to you anyway''.
Togata walks on and the two reach an area that has wood walls that loop around each other.
Togata and Aira sigh. ''A maze''.
''Why can't it ever be easy''. Togata sighs.
''Uhg we're never getting out of here!''. Aira shouts.
''Calm down, you'll just need to carry more weight''. Togata explains as he transforms.
Togata enters the maze and puts one hand on the wall. ''And close your eyes by the way''.
''Why?''. Aira asks. ''Just do it''. Togata says as he picks her up in his arms.
Aira closes her eyes as she feels a massive gust of wind push her back.
''Done we're here''. Togata says as they emerge from the maze.
Aira opens her eyes to see them out of the maze and into another area of the bathhouse.
''How did you?''. Aira asks.
''It's a common maze trick, if you put a hand on one side of the wall and trace it through the maze you'll get to the end, specifically if you're in a maze with no circles and only 1 entrance and an oppositely place exit on the other side, it was a gamble but it seems it worked''. Togata explains
''And why did you want me to close my eyes? To show off?''. Aira asks crossing her arms.
''No, It's a guaranteed way to finish a maze but it still takes a while. I used my power to speed us up and so we did it so fast you would get information overload so I told you to close your eyes''. Togata says.
''Total nerd''. Aira says.
The 2 enter what seems to be a room where the mist is at its thickest they see a very big man in a giant pond just soaking himself in water as he uses some sort of device to spray steam created from the bathwater all over the area.
''Finally!''. Togata and Aira shout.
''What?''. The man shouts as he is immediately ambushed by Togata throwing Aira as she spin kicks him multiple times.
