Chapter 94: The Counterattack Begins!
Upon nearing the wall, Yining leapt high. Space distorted around her, and in the next instant, she vanished from the spot.
Inside Lin Jun's "Castle Giant" body, the interior was a veritable fortress, yet renovated with a distinctively modern flair.
In front of a massive floor-to-ceiling 3D surround screen, Lin Jun and Su Qingyu were engrossed in a racing game. Chu He stood nearby, holding a map of the training camp, deep in thought.
Su Mumu, meanwhile, had her fingers circled around her eyes to mimic a scope, her gaze locked dead on Su Qingqing's position in the dense forest. She didn't even turn around when Yining entered.
In the corner, Shi Feng offered no greeting to the returning Yining. He simply continued to clang away at his weights, lost in his own world, though no one knew what he was thinking.
"Captain Chu, I was spotted by that handsome little guy," Yining said, walking up to Chu He and recounting exactly what had happened in the forest.
"Blow up the training camp?" Su Qingyu slapped her thigh and exclaimed, "Why didn't I think of that!"
Lin Jun let out a disdainful laugh. "Picking a fight with us? Who gave them the courage? Aren't they afraid of having their spirits completely broken?"
To him, Chen Yu's proposal was nothing more than a sore loser's tantrum, a childish attempt to save face.
"Whether it's a duel or blowing up the surveillance room, it doesn't matter," Su Mumu finally retracted her gaze, her tone indifferent. "Leave Qingqing to me when the time comes. I'm worried you guys won't know your own strength and might hurt her."
"Tsk, you sis-con, you're hopeless," Lin Jun rolled his eyes, unable to resist a jab.
Su Mumu ignored him, watching the students gathered in a huddle, discussing something unknown.
"But speaking of which, do you think proposing a duel is just an excuse to break out of the Castle-Castle Fruit's encirclement?"
In her view, the students knew they couldn't beat the Silver Fox Squad but didn't want to be trapped inside the high walls, hence the duel idea. If the Silver Fox Squad agreed, they could seize the chance to leave the walls and enter the training grounds, making escape much easier.
"No," Chu He shook his head, folding the map in his hands, his tone calm but certain.
"Chen Yu has a dwarf named Sero by his side."
"He possesses the Door-Door Fruit ability. If he wanted to, he could open a spatial door and leave at any time. He wouldn't need to go through all this trouble."
"Besides, if they really wanted a head-on collision, they wouldn't have let Yining come back to report." A thoughtful look appeared in Chu He's eyes. "Bombing the training camp..."
The words had barely left his mouth.

A loud explosion rang out, causing dust and gravel to rain down from the stone walls.
"What's going on?" Su Qingyu stood up immediately, her expression shifting slightly. "An explosion?"
Lin Jun sank his consciousness into the Castle Giant.
He saw a crater half a meter deep blasted into the inner stone wall, smoke billowing and debris flying. The students were launching a fierce assault on the walls, as if... they were initiating an attack?
"They've made their move!" Lin Jun's voice held a trace of surprise. "They're actually starting a counterattack."
Chu He smiled and stood up. "Let's go. Time to head out and see what these little guys are planning."
"Hey! Who gave you permission to give orders?" Su Qingyu hooked her arm around Chu He's neck and dragged him outside.
Lin Jun manipulated the stone wall to open a large gate, and the group walked out briskly.
As soon as they found their footing, they were met by the students charging straight at them.
"Counterattack start!"
"Go, go, go!!"
"Don't look down on us!"
Leading the charge was Su Qingqing.
Her Mythical Zoan ability was already active, a faint purple light shimmering in her eyes as an illusion instantly enveloped the Silver Fox Squad members.
She targeted her sister, Su Mumu, specifically.
She had her sister figured out; this hopeless sis-con cared about nothing more than her. As long as the illusion contained images of "herself getting hurt," it would pin her down.
"Su Mumu, don't be fooled by the illusion!" Chu He's voice cut through, seeing through Su Qingqing's little trick at a glance.
But Su Mumu just chuckled, seemingly unaffected. "Using your sister's concern against her? That's naughty."
"Let big sister see how much you've improved!"
The two sisters instantly clashed.
On the other side.
He Yan and Gong Wei had already engaged Shi Feng.
Shi Feng transformed into a horned muscle-bound giant, his size doubling. The muscles on his arms knotted like roots. One punch smashed into the ground, creating a small crater.
Relying on his status as a Logia user, He Yan tanked the punch and plastered a handful of magma right onto Shi Feng's face.
"Magma?" Shi Feng remained unscathed. "My skin adapted to high temperatures long ag—"
As he spoke, Shi Feng grew sleepier and sleepier, his eyelids feeling as heavy as lead.
It was Bai Han, standing to the side, who had made his move; the power of Dream Entry controlled Shi Feng again.
"Take this!" Gong Wei's voice rang out. With his physical attributes amplified tenfold, he delivered a punch that tore through the air, slamming right into Shi Feng's kidney.
Shi Feng groaned, forcibly steadying his stance.
Jin Ling'er, wielding the Float-Float Fruit, levitated the surrounding rubble and tree branches, firing them like bullets at Lin Jun.
Lin Jun's Castle-Castle Fruit activated immediately, erecting a thick stone wall in front of him to block all incoming attacks.
But just as he blocked Jin Ling'er's assault, Wei Ping rushed in from the side, slamming both hands onto the ground and shouting, "Rise!"
The ground instantly trembled, and thick stone pillars erupted from the earth, smashing into Lin Jun's stone wall.
Boom! A crack appeared on Lin Jun's wall.
The rest of the students swarmed forward, exuding an aura that screamed, "You might be strong, but you can't take us all at once!"
The fiercest battle, however, was between Ling Yue and Su Qingyu.
Su Qingyu moved with incredible speed, a silver blur with a long sword in hand, thrusting toward Ling Yue's chest.
She had fought Ling Yue before and knew the girl's Time-Time Fruit countered her. So, she attacked with maximum speed right from the start, hoping to catch Ling Yue off guard.
Ling Yue remained calm.
The Ice-Ice Fruit activated immediately. As the cold air burst forth, Su Qingyu's Slow-Slow Beam shone directly at her.
But the spreading frost didn't slow down; the Time-Time Fruit once again reversed and negated the Slow-Slow Beam's effect.
"Hmm? You've mastered it this quickly?" Su Qingyu frowned, dodging the ice spikes Ling Yue sent her way, her tone laced with surprise. "You really are a genius!"
"Senior Sister taught me well." Ling Yue didn't waste words. Activating the Paw-Paw Fruit, she pushed her palms out toward Su Qingyu.
A paw-print shockwave blasted toward Su Qingyu.
Su Qingyu reacted fast, sidestepping immediately. The shockwave hit a nearby tree, snapping the trunk in half and sending wood chips flying.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Three Devil Fruit abilities." Su Qingyu dropped her dismissive attitude. "Does one training camp really need two freaks of nature?"
Yining was also surrounded by several students, subjected to a righteous gang-beating.
The members of the Silver Fox Squad were temporarily pinned down by the students, but Chu He hadn't made a move yet.
He stood in place, his gaze sweeping rapidly across the battlefield. His expression grew strange.
Something was wrong. Very wrong.
Even though they had suppressed their cultivation to the Apprentice rank (Tier 3), he didn't believe the students could pin down his teammates just by swarming them.
Moreover, he didn't see Chen Yu. Nor did he see Long Aotian, Zhuge Jing, or Sero.
If they were fighting, why wasn't Chen Yu, their strongest combatant—and a total freak—present?
"Lin Jun! Use your radar to detect where Chen Yu and the others are!" Chu He shouted immediately, urgency coloring his tone. A bad premonition suddenly struck him.
Lin Jun was busy fending off attacks from Wei Ping, Jin Ling'er, and twenty others single-handedly. Hearing Chu He, he diverted a portion of his attention to activate his internal radar detection.
A few seconds later, his expression changed. "Captain Chu! I sense them!"
"They're running toward the training camp!"
"The training camp direction?" Chu He's heart skipped a beat. Zhuge Jing's earlier proposal to bomb the camp flashed through his mind.
"They really intend to blow up the training camp?!"
He had wondered why Chen Yu let Yining come back to report; now he finally understood.
Yining was just a piece of deceptive information Chen Yu had casually planted.
The students launched a counterattack to pin down the Silver Fox Squad, while Chen Yu's group of four took the opportunity to run toward the camp to blow it up.
"Qingyu, control the field!"
"Everyone keep a close watch on all the students. This isn't right!" Chu He ordered immediately.
"I'm going after Chen Yu and his group."
With that, Chu He turned and ran toward the training camp, but the sense of dissonance in his heart refused to fade.
