Although this project is inspired by the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, especially GX and 5D's—it is an original story, with its own characters and narrative. There will be no characters from anime or manga. Some concepts may feel familiar, such as a duel academy or futuristic cities, but these are simply inspirations, not copies.
Regarding the decks, most of them will be based on archetypes that didn't appear in the anime. However, if a character fits a specific existing deck very well, or if options are limited, I might still use one. In addition, there will be fanmade cards, but no fanmade decks. These new cards exist solely to make duels more interesting, as some archetypes have a very limited card pool for a long story.
Finally, I used AI only as a translation tool. I prefer writing in my native language and then translating to ensure a well-crafted text.
