"What kind of person are you?" I yelled at her, ignoring the fact that she's my mother. I didn't care at this point since she wasn't saying anything reasonable.
She frowned and her eyes darkened. "I didn't say you should forget her."
"Then what exactly are you saying, Ophelia?" I spat and my hands shook in anger. "Because it sounds like you've changed your mind about caring about her."
The tension in the room was too much and the doctor intervened. The doctor sighed and walked closer. "Alpha, you need to calm down."
Calm down? I couldn't calm down, not when Isobel was still out there. I wasn't going to lose her, not now and not ever.
