I walked fast as I had to get away from Quinn because the way she warned me and the way she spoke to me made my skin crawl.
"You're not as invisible as you think." I still couldn't understand what she meant and what made her to say those words.
I was certain that knew something, maybe she didn't know everything, but she knew enough to say to get me worked up and make my heart pound. I didn't need any more problems, especially not from her but as I kept walking to my room, which for some reason was taking so much time to get to, I saw Mason walking towards me. I wanted to avoid him, maybe even turn around and go in the other direction but it was too late as we neared each other.
Before I could even process what was going on, he reached for me and grabbed my arm as if he knew that I wanted to pass by him.
"Where do you think you're going to?," he said calmly but there was a hint of amusement in his tone like he knew he what was on my mind.
