Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: A New Dawn

The city was waking up as the first light of dawn painted the skyline in soft hues of pink and orange. Blue sat on the rooftop, the empty streets below beginning to stir with life. He stared out at the horizon, lost in thought.

His mind kept drifting back to the kids he saw yesterday—how their laughter and joy reminded him of something he couldn't quite grasp. For the first time since arriving, he felt a flicker of hope. Maybe here, in this strange city filled with duels and dreams, he could find a new path.

He closed his eyes briefly, trying to summon memories, but they remained elusive—like a puzzle missing its key piece. Still, he refused to give up. He knew deep down that his past was somewhere in the shadows, waiting to be uncovered, and he was determined to find it.

Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through his thoughts.

"Morning, Blue."

He turned to see Jack approaching with a gentle smile, holding two cups of steaming coffee. He handed one to Blue.

"Thanks," Blue said softly, accepting the drink.

Jack leaned against the railing, looking out over the city.

"You seem more focused today," he said.

Blue nodded, taking a sip. "I think I need to start thinking about the future instead of what I've lost."

Jack chuckled. "That's the spirit. Neo Domino isn't just about duels; it's about finding your place, your reason to keep fighting."

Blue looked down at the cup, then back at the bustling streets below.

He thought about the kids, the duelists, Lily's incredible Synchro monsters—and realized that in this world, strength wasn't just about raw power. It was about heart, strategy, and the will to keep going.

"Maybe I don't remember my past," he said quietly, "but I can decide who I want to be now."

Jack smiled warmly.

"Good. That's the only way to move forward."

As the sun rose higher, casting golden light across Neo Domino City, Blue felt a newfound sense of purpose. Whatever mysteries lay ahead, he would face them head-on. One duel, one step at a time.

And maybe, just maybe, he'd uncover the truth behind his past—if he never gave up searching.
