I've decided I'm going to give you both a chance, Penelope stated, Steven's face scrunched with a hint of disgust. It's true I like him, but I like you too, so I'm going to go on three dates with both of you separately, them I'm going to make my final decision. Steven was clearly not flattered by this decision, the fact that Penelope was so excited about it made his blood boil, but he knew he was going to take part in it regardless. I guess the nurses office is u guy's new hangout spot, Patrick said as he walked in, good you came Patty, I was just telling Steven about this amazing idea, she beamed. I heard it, Patrick sighed, and what did you think of it, wow, you seem really excited. She was indeed, she was squealing and hopping around. Soo, what did you think, she continued asking as Patrick put on his glasses and began typing something on his laptop, completely ignoring her and the devastated look on Steven's face.
After completely ransacking her closet, Penelope decided to go easy on the colors, and just wear something cosy and cute so he wouldn't think she was trying too hard. She was dressed in a black jumpsuit and a black puffy jacket, leg and fingers hand warmers and pink shoes, she let her hair down and put on just a little bit of lip tint to make her eyes pop. Patrick sighed to himself watching Jackson come pick Penelope up, is this how I'll spend the rest of my days, he whispered out loud.
Easy easy, just hold onto my hand, Jackson chuckled as he led Penelope through the ice rink slowly, don't let go, she yelped when she almost fell. Do you want me to spin you in the air, what, no, Penelope giggled at his absurd question. You can trust me, I actually used to be a competitive ice skater, really?, she giggled, yh that's literally all I did back in dutch, then why did you stop. Well, my dad was kinda forcing me to go like professional, but it was really something I started for fun, so I decided to stop. Now, come over, I'll launch you in the air, Penelope felt tingles all over her body when Jackson grabbed onto her waist. She let out a small yelp when he lifted her into the air and spun her around, she slowly opened her eyes and saw the beautiful scenery spinning along with her, weee, she yelled and giggled.
Their next date was at a mini golf course. Penelope was dressed in a beige checkered mini skirt and a beige body hug sweater, with a halter which shirt with collars underneath, a white headband, white socks, and white shoes, with a cute brown purse. You look really good, Jackson blushed when she smiled at him, you look really good too, at this point her face was frozen with a smile, she just couldn't help but smile and laugh when she was around him. Jackson was dressed in light brown trousers, a white shirt, and a green sweater tied over his neck, looking all professional, his sharp features made him look damn breathtaking. He leaned over and grabbed Penelope's hands from behind, she froze for a minute as she could feel his breath on her neck, and his scent filled her nostrils.
Okay, now move your arm back a little, get ready, she flinched a little as she could feel his breath on her ear, and shoot, he guided her and hit the ball, oh my gosh was that a hole in one, she skipped and squealed excitedly. Your so good at everything, she sprung into his arms giving him a tight hug. Sorry, she said and let go with an awkward smile.
Steven's hard stare could've bored a whole into Penelope's head, everything changed after their first date. Penelope never missed a chance to glance at Jackson and blush, he would catch Jackson winking at her alot, she even invited him over during lunch. Their last date was the day after, Steven knew he had to up his game if he wanted to stand a chance.
The last date was a movie date. Penelope decided to wear a sundress since it wasn't that cold, she wore a yellow flowy sundress and white low heels, did her hair in a celebrity bun, and wore dropping earrings. Penelope felt Jackson slip his hand onto hers, holding her softly, she blushed looking to her side to see Jackson was quite happy too. Her heart was beating so fast she could hear it in her ears.
Mom, you have no idea, oh you probably do, she chuckled, but like I could feel literal butterflies in my stomach the whole time, and m-my my heart was beating so fast, I could hear it like I was holding it in my hands, she gestured. Oh my gosh, I can't believe my baby is in love, Estella squealed, and he is so handsome, which is so good for you my love. Erm, that's all good, but what about Steven, what's gonna happen to Steven, Penelope's face dropped at the mention of his name. I totally forgot about him aunty Laura, now I feel terrible, she frowned.
Don't, you did explain to him that you might like Jackson, so it shouldn't come as a shock to him baby. Yh, but now I have to go on three dates with him, it's going to be so awkward. Don't think of it as dates, think of it like going out with a friend, you guys are really good friends so just act that way, Patrick said and strolled by. Yh, just do that, your relationship with Jackson is bound to cause some problems between you and Steven, your happiness comes first okay, Laura added.
Patty, do you think I and Steven will remain friends, Patrick chocked on the water he was drinking. Weren't you just sitting there, he pointed, sorry for startling you, she said and flashed a smile. Patricks heart ached at the thought that she may never see him the way he sees her, or worse, he may never stop loving her. Earth to Patty, she snapped her fingers and waved her hand snapping him out of his trance. Oh-yh, erm, I agree with mom, you're relationship is bound to cause some problems, but your happiness matters the most kiddo, he ruffled her hair and headed back to his room. I told you to quit doing that hmph, she pouted with her arms crossed, Patty turned and chuckled. Laura watched them with a smile a sad eyes, maybe someday, she whispered her breath.
