Everyone was still shaken by what happened at the pack bonding. None of them ever thought there would be a possibility of getting hurt. It was at this time that Uri, Xen,o and Visha truly revealed to the pack members the 'betrayal clause' that the pack carried.
They informed them that betrayal may cost them their own lives. This is why they had always emphasised loyalty. They could see the dissatisfaction on their faces. They could see that some understood, but there were others who were indignant.
"Why didn't you tell us from the beginning?" asked Vina.
"Would it have made a difference?" Visha's voice was eerily calm. "If you have no intention to betray, then you won't be affected."
"I'm glad it has that effect," Kael spoke out. "After what I experienced in the Tiger tribe, I'm glad to know I won't face any betrayal in this pack. It makes me feel more at ease.
"Well, I don't like it. Why should I be restrained like this?" Vina yelled.
