Kaelen hadn't been a part of the pack long, but he was still someone they valued. It was because he was willing to go with Visha that she was able to go and return so quickly.
Xeno, who was on patrol, suddenly stopped. A whooping sound left his chest as he ran to the square. Uri, who was making a list of rules for the pack to follow, heard the eagle's cry. His head snapped towards the sound, and he moved immediately.
Both men started moving towards the square, forgetting the work they had to do. Though they weren't the only ones.
The entire pack gathered in the square, waiting for Visha to appear. They watched Kaelen approaching. Listening to the cry he made before landing. They were so excited at the prospect of her coming back that they missed the scent of the two additional people.
