Carabella and Jefferson turned their heads together when they heard the voice of a middle-aged man suddenly enter the room. The owner of the voice was Alexander. He had arrived with his wife to visit their son, carrying numerous paper bags. Carabella tried to get out of bed, but her lover grabbed her waist, causing her to stare wide-eyed.
"Jeff, what are you doing?" she whispered.
Jefferson responded with a mischievous smile. "Stay here with me."
"But, what if your parents misunderstand?"
Alexander and Vilia stared wide-eyed as their son embraced a woman, their adopted daughter. They had initially assumed their son's feelings for this woman were more than just friendship or a half-sister. Seeing the scene clearly show their son dating another woman, should they just let it go rather than leave him unhappy?
Meanwhile, Jefferson greeted his parents with a relaxed smile. "Mom, Dad, you're finally here."
