Carabella still found it hard to believe all this. It turned out that Thalia had been secretly monitoring her not because she hated her, but rather to protect her. That's why Thalia had gathered so much evidence to easily free her. She hadn't even imagined Jefferson would even think of calling Linda's housekeeper as an eyewitness. She'd clearly seen all the housekeepers accusing her of theft, even though Thalia was on duty picking fruit in the backyard.
Deep in her heart, she was incredibly grateful to Thalia for saving her. Even though it was all Jefferson's idea, Thalia's presence meant everything to her. Without Thalia's initiative to monitor her, she would still be locked behind bars.
The chief detective was now nodding after hearing the eyewitness's story. Even now, he couldn't do anything because Thalia's evidence was so strong that he couldn't detain Carabella any further.
