Morris's POV
My gaze turned heavy, and panic shot through me for a split second.
I tossed my phone aside, spun around and grabbed Ana's hand, checking her frantically from head to toe.
"Are you hurt?" The words came out tighter than I intended.
Ana looked stunned by my sudden intensity. When she noticed the real panic in my eyes, she placed her hand gently over mine. "I'm really fine, Morris. What's got you so worked up?"
Seeing her calm and unharmed, I finally exhaled slowly, the knot in my chest starting to ease.
But that damn photo kept flashing in my mind—that intimate, up-close shot that made my blood boil.
Even though it was taken from a sneaky angle, I recognized the location immediately. The cafeteria downstairs from our office building.
I trusted Ana completely, but someone had obviously sent me that photo on purpose, trying to mess with us.
If someone was scheming against her in such a public place, it meant Ana was being watched.
