Morris's POV
My eyes darkened as I stayed silent.
Aileen's laughter rang through the phone. "We've crossed paths before, you know. Sure, you're good-looking, but I seriously doubt you're into Ana—she's nothing but chaos with a terrible reputation. Your judgment's pretty questionable."
My stare turned deadly. "Where is she?" I growled, my voice cutting like a blade.
Even through the phone, Aileen could sense my fury, but she kept cackling. "Ana screwed up, so Ridley's teaching her a lesson. He's got her locked in some dark room to reflect on her mistakes. Planning to swoop in and rescue her? Trust me, she'll be all over you if you do. That's exactly how she hooked Ridley in the first place."
The line went dead.
My grip on the phone tightened until my knuckles went white, veins bulging. Rage clouded my features, my eyes blazing crimson.
I was dying to charge into the Collin Mansion right now and tear Ridley and Aileen apart. But I couldn't just bulldoze my way in.
