Ana's POV
Elma came to an abrupt halt and spun around to face Ridley. "If that bothers you, feel free to take me to court."
Ridley's jaw dropped at Elma's brazen response.
Without another word to him, Elma seized my hand and pulled me toward the office entrance.
Ridley started moving after us, but Morris stepped into his path, cutting him off.
Morris looked exactly as he had this morning when he'd appeared at my doorstep. The black and white casual outfit complemented his silver hair, which caught the light beautifully. His aura remained as aristocratic and icy as ever.
Ridley's gaze turned glacial. "Morris, do you honestly believe I won't retaliate against you?"
"That would depend on your actual capabilities."
Morris kept his hands buried in his pockets, his stare lethal as he fixed Ridley with a frigid look. "The divorce papers will be finalized soon, so you should quit hovering around. It makes you appear desperate."
