A short while passed before local police swarmed Golden Castle in massive numbers.
I positioned myself at the perimeter, observing the smoke and chaos erupting inside.
All innocent civilians had been evacuated safely.
My driver approached me with a question.
"Mr. Welch, regarding that contract..."
I spun the pen between my fingers thoughtfully.
Nate had supplied a specific pen for the contract signing, but I'd swapped it for one filled with heat-sensitive ink.
The moment flames touched it, the writing would disappear forever.
Golden Castle now blazed in the distance.
"Don't worry about it. Keep hunting for that item. Nate won't slip away this time."
My driver gave a quick nod.
Watching the local forces gain control, I turned and slid into my car, immediately dialing Sullivan.
At the medical facility, Sullivan and Yolanda sat waiting while Fred examined and treated Ana.
"She's out of danger now," Fred announced.
