Ana's POV
Someone suddenly grabbed my wrist, making my heart slam against my ribs. Blood drained from my face.
The moment Harold's fingers closed around me, the crowd erupted in cheers.
"Come on, it's just for fun. I'm cool with it, so what's your problem?"
Harold's eyes locked onto mine. "Unless you're saying I'm not your type?"
"Have you lost your mind?" I yanked my arm, fighting to break free.
This guy was a total creep, and this whole reunion felt like an elaborate setup designed just to humiliate me.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Aileen shoved her palm against my back. I pitched forward, straight into Harold's waiting arms. The crowd's roar intensified.
I thrashed against his grip, yelling, "Get your hands off me!"
But Harold's arms tightened like a vise, refusing to let go as he bent his head toward mine. I jerked away and cracked my palm across his cheek with everything I had.
The crowd's noise reached a fever pitch as Harold's rage ignited.
