Ana's POV
Julio and I were locked in a fierce argument about whether Thomas's decisions truly served Siena's interests.
Mid-argument, Ridley suddenly shoved the hospital room door open and stormed inside.
My face immediately went cold.
"Are you okay, Ana?" Ridley looked genuinely worried about me. He rushed forward, sweat still beading on his forehead.
I had zero interest in acknowledging him.
Julio immediately got to his feet and stepped into Ridley's path before he could reach me. "You're not wanted here. Get out!"
Spotting Julio, Ridley's eyebrows drew together slightly. "Mr. Vernon, I'm here to see my ex-wife. You have no authority to stop me, and what gives you the right anyway?"
Julio let out a scornful laugh. "Your ex-wife? You two are finished.
Don't you feel pathetic constantly showing up to harass her? Let me make this clear: Ana is my sister now. As long as I'm around, you won't get near her again!"
