Ana's POV
I remained silent, giving Thomas the space to process everything himself.
Thomas had faith that his little sister wouldn't deceive him about something this serious.
After mulling it over, he simply resigned himself to the situation.
His head drooped, and he looked completely crushed.
"If I'd realized it would turn out like this, I never would've said any of that stuff to her," Thomas mumbled quietly.
"Damn, I really screwed this up," Thomas thought, frustration eating at him.
I found myself genuinely curious about how Thomas and Siena Zack had first crossed paths. I also wondered when exactly Thomas had fallen so hard for her.
From where I stood, it hadn't seemed like they were particularly tight in the beginning. I guess I wasn't the only one who picked up on that vibe.
But now wasn't the time to dive into all of that.
I caught Morris's eye.
"Jaylen's gonna swing by any minute to collect this little one," Morris announced.
