Ana's POV
After Thomas showed me around the design studio, he guided me back downstairs. The other three brothers were still at home.
When we descended the stairs, Julio stretched his neck, studying Thomas's expression like he was trying to decode his thoughts.
I noticed Julio seemed to pick up on Thomas's renewed energy, while I walked ahead with mixed feelings I couldn't quite sort out. Julio looked let down. So Thomas had actually succeeded in smoothing things over with me.
Julio probably would've enjoyed watching me stay furious and give Thomas a hard time. If I'd kept ignoring him for another week or two, the entertainment value would've been even better for him.
Edwin set aside his laptop and glanced my way.
These past few days, he'd clearly picked up on my initial awkwardness after coming back home. After our time together, he could see I'd visibly loosened up.
He seemed convinced that, given enough time, I'd genuinely start thinking of myself as family.
