Owen's eyes widened as a crescent of blue light tore through the air toward his chest.
"Move Owen!" Yuki Yelled from behind.
He threw himself backward, feeling the breeze sear past his shirt collar. The skill carved a deep hole into the wall behind him, causing debress to explode outward.
Owen's heart beat like a machine as he thought that would have been him bisected.
"you unawakened trash!" Vonn advanced, his hand glowing with another blue charge. "You think a nobody like you can protect her from me?"
Owen scrambled to his feet, backing toward the stairwell. He had no powers or skills. Just a normal human body against a C-Rank Hunter. His mind raced.
"[Slash]!"
Another arc of blue energy cut through the air, Owen dove behind the corner as it demolished the doorframe where his head had been. Splinters of wood rained down on him.
"Run all you want!" Vonn's boots thudded closer. "You can't dodge forever!"
Owen grabbed a fire extinguisher. His hands shook but he did his best to stay focused. When Vonn came around the corner with his hand glowing for another strike, Owen swung with everything he had.
CLANG!
The Fire extinguisher connected with Vonn's jaw causing him to stagger backward, the blue glow of his skill fizzling out.
"You basta---!"

Owen didn't give him a chance. He sprayed the extinguisher directly into Vonn's face, the white foam exploding everywhere. Vonn screamed, clawing at his eyes again.
Owen dropped the canister and threw a desperate punch into vonn's stomach. His knuckles exploded with pain, it was like hitting a steel plate. Vonn's passive physical enhancement from being an Awakened hunter made him far more durable than any normal human.
A backhand caught Owen across the face, sending him crashing into the wall. Blood filled his mouth. Stars danced in his vision.
"I'm going to kill you," Vonn snarled, wiping foam from his eyes. His hand began to glow again, brighter this time. "[Sla—"
"POLICE! FREEZE!"
The stairwell door burst open. Three officers in tactical gear aimed awakened-grade restraint weapons at Vonn.
"Drop the sword, NOW!"
Vonn's face twisted with rage, but the blue glow in his hand flickered and died out. He glared down at Owen with pure hatred.
"This isn't over."

Owen dropped gainst the wall, every breath he took sent pain through his ribs. Yuki came over to his side and they both watched the officers cuff and take Vonn away. A hunter using their skill in public and against a normal civiliam was a serious criminal offense so they knew for sure he would be locked up for some time.
"You shouldn't have done that" Yuki said as tears threatened to drop from her eyes.
Owen couldn't help but admire her beauty, even as she stood there beaten and about to cry, she was still the most beautiful milf he had ever seen in his life.
Owen got up and Dusted himself off.

He felt pain shoot through his whole body as he laid on the ground, bloodied with broken bones. As his consciousness slipped away, he kept hearing the voices of people around him calling for an ambulance.
