I happily laughed with my friends, entering the soba shop. We ordered, then Tsu looked at me smiling, "next week, when high school starts, can you walk with me to UA?" I grinned. "Of course!!" Me and Tsuyu were the only ones in our school to get into UA, and because of the disaster last year, we were moving into dorms straight away to protect the students. We were going to miss our friends!! :(
When we got our soba, I noticed a boy with two-toned hair sitting by himself, focused on his cold soba. cute.
After me and my friends finished, we split the check and went.
"I'm going a different way, so you can go ahead!" I assured them. "Ok!! See ya Y/N!!" They called. "See you at UA!" Tsu said.
I breathed the cold night air in, walking peacefully, but then, a strange man in a suit, walking quickly toward me. I glared at him. I walked faster to my house. He grabbed my hand and pulled me against the wall. I punched him in the gut. He flinched but still stood ground. Suddenly, ice crawled up his neck, and he fell to the floor. Dead??
I looked up. It was that guy from the soba shop, fully immersed in his osoba. "thanks" I smiled shyly, grateful for him to save me. "Are you going to UA?" he asked bluntly. I nodded. "Are you?" "I am. My name is Todoroki Shoto." he replies. "I'm L/N Y/N. And also, you're Endeavour's son, right?" I ask. He nodded, with... pain in his eyes. "Are you okay?" I ask genuinely. "Yep. See you at UA. Take care," Todoroki says curtly. I walked home the rest, thinking back on his eyes. The sorrow, pain, and did he get that scar from his father?
I opened the door. My parents are still at work. I sighed. At least there's no chance of me getting hit when they're at work. I started studying in my room, and once I was done, I collapsed in my bed. Finally, what a long day. But school was starting tomorrow, I reminded myself.
Alibi
Can you remember when the last time was
You felt safe in the dark?
This world was never meant for a woman's heart
But still, you rise through it all
When I'm out of breath, she's my vitals (Ooh-ooh)
When I need to rev, she's my ride-or-die
When I'm out of faith, she's my idol
I just killed a man, she's my alibi
