Aiden felt Daisy following him from behind,but he didn't care.
The sky had already gotten dark,and he needed to find a place to hide quickly.
At night,strong monsters would come out to hunt. He could fight 1st stage monsters with his Ghost Spear,but he was helpless against 2nd and 3rd stage ones.
Soon,he found a canyon that was surrounded by cliffs on both sides,and it was just enough to be a hiding place.
Aiden collected some dry branches and skillfully made a fire,then put the prepared wild boar meat on the fire to roast.
Daisy hesitated for a long time,but finally walked over to the fire,sat down with her legs hugged,and stayed silent,just watching the wild boar meat on the fire and swallowing her saliva.
The smell was strong,and this time Aiden didn't give her any trouble. He cut off a piece of roasted wild boar meat and threw it to her.
Daisy was angry, but she still picked it up and carefully chewed on it.

Aiden frowned and said, "My name is Aiden. I hope we don't have anything to do with each other, just go our own ways. We'll split up at dawn."

Flamefruit must be that red fruit, so it really was special.
He said coldly, "I lost it when I was running away."
"Lost?" Daisy's voice went up, she stared at Aiden angrily. "Do you know how much that fruit is worth!"
She felt both ashamed and angry. If she ate the flamefruit, she could get fire element talent and hide her job as a necromancer.
But Daisy quickly realized Aiden was lying, he didn't want her to get the flamefruit.
She continued, "What if I give you fifty thousand gold coins? That's enough for you to buy a noble title. And all your previous actions will be forgotten."
"You can't even leave here alive, okay. We'll split up tomorrow." Aiden didn't want to talk to this woman anymore, he put his head on Ghost Spear and closed his eyes pretending to sleep.
"Damn it! Beast! Pervert!" Daisy muttered under her breath, but she had no choice.
She tried to stay as far away from Aiden as possible, her heart was full of worries. She already knew, what happened in the cave last time, seemed like she had walked over to him on purpose.
This time, it definitely wouldn't happen again. She would stay awake all night if she had to.
Daisy played with the fire, a wave of tiredness came over her, she couldn't hold on any longer. She looked at Aiden beside her, who seemed to be asleep, then she felt a little better, leaned against the fire, and her heart was still full of worries.
At night, the sounds of monsters roaring filled the air.
Daisy didn't sleep well, she was scared of monsters attacking, and also scared that Aiden had bad intentions.

In the morning, Daisy was woken up by the sound of beautiful birds singing.

She saw Aiden putting out the fire and getting up to leave, so she hurried after him.

There was a stream ahead.
Daisy quickly said,"I'll go get water."
She snatched the water bag from Aiden's hands and ran toward the stream.
These past few days,she had been more obedient. She took care of getting water and collecting dry wood,trying to show her value,afraid Aiden would actually kick her out.
"This is cartilage grass?" By the stream,a small plant caught Daisy's attention. She looked closely and was sure it was cartilage grass. Her eyes sparkled,but she had a sly smile on her face.
She saw Aiden wasn't paying attention,so she quietly pulled the plant out,chewed it up,and put it in her bag.
"Hmph,let you kiss me indirectly. You're lucky,pervert!"
She thought to herself,then quickly poured river water into the bag,nervously handed it to Aiden,and smiled,"Drink."
Aiden took the bag,gave Daisy a suspicious look,and hung it on his waist.
He wasn't thirsty right now.
Daisy saw he didn't fall for it and angrily waved her fist. She ignored him and walked behind him slowly.
Under the night sky,this time they were lucky enough to find a cave.
Daisy took the initiative to collect dry wood and start a fire. She saw Aiden carefully roasting fish and secretly hoped that guy would drink the water soon.
Soon,the smell filled the air. Aiden handed over a roasted fish.
"Thank you." Daisy automatically said,took the fish,and started eating it silently.
"What? Are you sick?" Aiden was surprised. He knew this woman was stubborn and even a bit mean.
Today she was unusually nice.
"Hahaha." Daisy laughed nervously,"I'm just afraid you'll kick me out."
Aiden frowned,"Go back to your old attitude. This makes me feel awkward."
"Hmph!" Daisy huffed,and when she saw Aiden take off the water bag,her eyes lit up.
"Want to drink?" He handed the bag to her.
Daisy shook her head quickly,"I'm not thirsty. You drink."
"Stranger." Aiden muttered,pulled off the cork,and took a sip.
Whether it was his imagination or not,the water seemed sweeter than before.
Daisy let out a little sigh of relief and bent down,carefully tearing at the fish meat.
But within just a quarter of an hour,Aiden felt something wrong. His whole body went weak,and he couldn't even lift his arm.
He looked over at the water bag by the side,and suddenly realized—this woman had messed with it.
"Pervert,how are you feeling?" Daisy threw away the half-eaten roasted fish and stood up,a devilish smile on her face.
Aiden glared at her,trying to yell at her,but he couldn't make a single sound.
Daisy's smile got even bigger,and she said excitedly,"Don't be scared,I won't kill you. I just want to make you my slave and then turn you into a necromancer puppet."
She said that,then kicked the Ghost Spear away and continued,"Someone who can ignore the Demon God's curse and make the Ghost Spear recognize you as its master—my guess is you've got an immortal body. You'll be the most useful to me."
Betrayal!
Aiden glared at Daisy,gritting his teeth and cursing,but he couldn't make a sound.
"Hey,what's that look for?"
Daisy was angry. Then she remembered what had happened in the cave before,and she kicked Aiden in the crotch with all her strength.
"F-U-C-K"
Aiden let out a painful moan,cold sweat pouring down his forehead.
That kick had been all she had,and it probably broke something.
Aiden wanted to tear this sneaky woman into pieces,but he couldn't even move a single finger.
"Hey,are you still trying to kill me?" Daisy was angry and kicked him twice more. She felt a bit better after letting off some steam.
She crouched down in front of Aiden,pulled out her Necromancy Notes,and found the soulbinding pact. She muttered the complicated spell under her breath.
It took her three tries,but she finally succeeded.
A surge of soul energy formed a soul contract.
Daisy frowned,bit her finger,and a drop of blood floated in the air. Then she picked up a sharp stone and roughly cut Aiden's arm,making another drop of blood float up. They merged together.
"Soulbinding pact,done!" Daisy whispered,and the blood mixed with soul energy,both disappearing into her and Aiden's foreheads.
