Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2:SELF DOUBT

He looked at the aquatic planet, its surface as blue as the sky of his long-destroyed home. His dark eyes were empty, his hands trembling at the thought of destroying yet another world—knowing that countless more would have to suffer for his cause. He wanted to stop. To give up. But he couldn't. He had to force the Creator's hand to reset all things.

So he put on a fake smile and said,

"The Fish Planet… huh. Too bad."

As he spoke, a black hole formed in his hand—small, barely the size of a planet—but it pulled in all the water, sucking it from the planet along with its people, then extinguished its liquid flame core completely.

Disgust filled him. There was no difference between him and the people he had once fought, the people he had despised.

He turned his gaze to the surrounding planets, a dark thrill in his chest. He walked into the giant ball of light—the star itself—and blew it apart.

The first planet to fall was made of pure adium, a metal so dense it should have been impossible to melt. Yet, under his power, it liquefied, taking all its people with it. One by one, planets fell until no solar system remained. The void that replaced them was cold, empty, and silent.

He raised his eyes to the sky, his voice trembling with frustration:

"How long will you keep watching? I don't want this—but you forced my hand. Bring them all back. We end this."

Only dead, calm silence answered him.

"So be it," he whispered. "I will destroy everything… until there is nothing left."

Another portal opened, and more planets fell. Innocent lives were lost to his power, his guilt staining his hands red. But he closed off the human part of himself, burying it deep until he achieved his goal.

Far beyond, the Creator watched from the edge of imagination. Kneeling, he prayed for guidance, seeking a way to save the worlds without destroying them.

And then, as if answering his prayer, he saw a child floating amid the chaos, breaking it apart with a thought. Understanding blossomed in him. He smiled and whispered a silent thanks to the Lord.
