CHAPTER- ONE
Morning sunlight hits my eyes and i hear a loud sound 'wake up it's already 8 you're going to be late for school.' I slowly open my eyes and it's 7am. I knew that , it's just Nepali mom things but I'm full excited for today.
It's a new semester and we have a field visit to a football stadium. I have always loved designing and being an architect is all I dreamed off. I'm a nurse and studying a completely different field, which I understand is not a good idea. Being in medical field is all my parents wanted but now doing what I really want feels right in every aspects. Though, I'm still doing a nursing job here in England.
It's already 8:30 and I am dressed up in my comfy shorts ,T-shirt and a converse. I have always loved summer and riding a bike at this hour is so much refreshing. The stadium is beautifully designed. I slowly walk down to the parking area and a parking attendant stops me 'You can't park your bike here, there is no place for bikes right now. It's time for VIP.' He sounds rude. 'Why can't I, it's for public and no one is supposed to stop me or anyone here' I shouted.
As I was squabbling with the attendant someone stops us ,' what's going on here, what are you both shouting about' .I turned back and it's none other than Javier. One of the best footballer in England. He is definitely more good looking than in social media for sure. For a second I can't take my eyes off him. Then the security explains the situation and Javier says' It's okay you can park here and nobody's going to disturb you ever again is that okay?'. 'You better tell your stadium guard to learn some manners and respect everyone, anyway thanks'.
Then I was walking to the entrance Javier continues 'You're welcome, so, do you work here? Cause I have never seen you here before and I don't think there is any match at this hour'.
'Oh! no no, I have a field visit for a week here.' While we were near the entrance there were bunch of paps trying to take photos and talk to him so, I thought it would be better to say bye and leave.
There are bunch of footballers practicing and I can't see my friends. It literally feels so awkward being there but I decided not to worry about anything and start clicking photos of the stadium for the project that would definitely be assigned.
'Eda, I thought you would be late today'. At a little distance I can see my best friend Eva. We came to England together. We have been best friends from past 10 years and used to live together during our first semester. Then my parents came here and we live in a different apartment now. 'I can never be late you know that, it's you who is usually not on time'. 'Omg! This many gorgeous faces, Thank you god for this day'-Eva. Her eyes were sparkling to see them. As we started gossiping about everything, I see Naten entering. He has been not just mine every girls crush. Like who can't like Naten he plays well and is good looking. The only thing that I don't like about him not just me but all most everyone is that he is a total play boy. But still you know…
My friends were running to take photos with them and I wanted a photo with Naten too but I thought it would be quite uncomfortable for them to take photos during there practice time. Eva-'Eda, take the pic. A good one ya!'. I wanted to be there as equally as all of my friends there but the little introvert part of me didn't let me .It's hard to be an ambivert.
'Okay! everyone gather here don't disturb them, you have your things to do first. In this field visit you'll be divided into 3 groups for the project of the London stadium interior. So, group leaders will be Eda, Eva and Louis.( The members of Eva will be…..) I will be watching you all so be Disciplined and work properly since, this project will carry an important role in your up coming exams.'
All my friends are busy watching the boys. That doesn't mean I'm not watching them. All of a sudden Naten and my eyes meet together. I pause for a sec which literally feels like a minute and I look away. 'Ugh! After 5 continuous hours of hard work finally we got 30 mins break but thankful it's time to look at my mans'.
'Okay, Eva that's it let's just get some food and leave to work now'. (Phone rings) 'It's a message from hospital team.' (Eda, daisy and Jacob will have duty in London stadium as a medical person during the match today, be there at sharp 5).
I am already tired and I still need to be in the same place for don't know how long. It's already almost 3 so, I decide to stay there until 5 I am just strolling around to find a quite place to continue my project since, I had no other plans.
'Oh sorry ! You okay?'
Is it a movie or am I dreaming! I can't believe I just bumped to Naten. I froze for a sec.
