The Stardust Guild headquarters shimmered like a floating palace of glowing purple crystal. The entrance was a massive crescent moon hanging in the air, with floating platforms leading upward.
A girl stood at the gate.
Tall, elegant, with flowing cosmic-blue hair that sparkled like a star map. She wore a sleeveless uniform adorned with constellations and held a long staff shaped like an orbiting ring.
Her eyes lit up when she saw Lyria.
"Lyriaaaa!"
She tackled her into a hug.
Riley blinked.
"Who's… that?"
Lyria laughed. "Riley, everyone, meet Selene Astrae, Vice-Guildmaster of Stardust."
Selene straightened, smiling warmly.
"So this is the boy who breaks the Tower's physics."
Riley raised a hand weakly. "Hi."
Selene stepped closer, studying him intensely.
Her eyes reflected starlight.
"So you're the Awakening anomaly…"
Aeris stiffened. "You know something?"
Selene nodded slowly.
"I know the Tower fears him."
Riley groaned. "Wonderful."
Kaela crossed her arms. "Are you going to turn him in?"
Selene laughed.
"No. Stardust Guild protects outcasts."
Behind her, the massive crystal doors opened.
"Come. Our guildmaster wants to meet you."
