P.S.I. stood for Psycho Stream Integrator. It was a piece of device that could connect with the Psycho Force directly and helped Psychics in using Psionics.
Mater saw it as a type of Magical Conduit of the modern world. It served the same function and operated exactly the same.
There were many variations of PSI devices and each had a unique appearance to it. There were tablets, bracers, even some forms of accessories like bracelets or rings. The latter was, of course, much more expensive than the ordinary one.
The Institute didn't produce Psycho Stream Integrator. Instead, these devices were manufactured by private companies or independent craftsmen.
