The police car stopped at the start of the street. Looking down on the path, a lonely luxurious mansion could be seen.
"How are you able to find out where he is? I don't even know." Lucy said.
"I have my ways." Selina said. "Speak your last words, Carpenter."
"Are you going to kill me?"
"Depends on what you're going to say."
Lucy bit her lips. She looked straight ahead, eyes stayed fixed on the empty road.
"I'm sorry."
Selina raised an eyebrow.
Lucy continued. "I didn't know that they're going to attack you. I only know that they need your information."
"Why?"
"I don't know for sure. But it's probably related to the cases you have solved."
"Oh? You know more than you're saying Lucy. If you really value your life, you should tell me everything." Selina said.
Lucy took a deep breath before answering, "There are forces. Forces in this world that want to create NCEs."
