Chapter 302: Volume-3 Chapter-4!
"Impressive," a male voice resounded. "To pressure four Emperor Realm experts alone."
From the shadows emerged eight elders, their auras deep and steady, followed by a man whose presence alone suppressed the battlefield.
Robes embroidered with ancient sigils.
The Sect Master of the Eastern Sovereign Hall,
An old man with snow-white hair tied behind his back, his eyes calm like a still lake that hid unfathomable depths.
The Blood Demon Lord laughed hoarsely.
"So you finally decided to join us."
The elders spread out, sealing escape routes.
Lin Feng rushed and returned to the formation, standing beside the two array flags.
He knew he was in trouble now. He didn't expect the whole Eastern Sovereign Hall to come to take revenge on him.
Lin Feng glared at the sect master and sneered, "You finally found the courage to come after me, huh?"
The sect master didn't deny his accusation and nodded instead:
"Yes, Lin Feng," he said with a wry smile.
"The strength you displayed a month ago was truly terrifying. You're a monster among cultivators. Only after exchanging blows with you did my eyes finally open—I realized that there are geniuses far beyond even my wildest imagination. To be honest, I never intended to come after you so soon—especially without my sect's formation amplifying my strength. But… as you can see, I didn't come unprepared today."
He glanced at the four attackers and smiled before returning his gaze back to Lin Feng:
"Lin Feng, even you won't be able to escape alive today! I know you are still wounded from our last fight, and I have the support of four excellent emperor realm cultivators in addition to the elders of the Eastern Sovereign Hall. We should be enough to take care of you."
Hearing his words, Lin Feng's heart sank.
He knew that the future looked grim. He couldn't help but look back at the conversation he had with his senior, Mao Lang.
Hadn't he arrogantly proclaimed that there was no one who could threaten his life?
It appeared that the heavens took offense at his arrogance and sent this tribulation as a punishment.
With a wistful smile, Lin Feng tightened his grip around the array flag.
Lightning roared louder.
"So," he said, eyes cold as thunderclouds gathered above, "you all came to die together."
The battlefield trembled—
The lightning around Lin Feng crackled violently as his eyes narrowed.
The pressure on the formation multiplied.
The Battlefield Erupted.
The Blood Demon Lord was the first to move again, sensing the moment.
He slammed his palm forward, blood qi surging outward in waves rather than sharp attacks—corrosive, oppressive, and heavy. The blood qi seeped into the ground, attempting to pollute the formation's foundation.
At the same time—
The Tian Jian Tribe's patriarch stepped forward, sword held horizontally. He did not cut space. Instead, his sword qi condensed into hundreds of razor-thin arcs, all aimed at the same point of the formation, repeatedly striking it like rain on iron.
"Break it through accumulation," he said calmly.
The Baihu Tribe Patriarch let out a thunderous roar, his muscles swelling as veins bulged across his arms. He punched the air repeatedly, each punch generating a shockwave of brute force, smashing against the formation like invisible hammers.
Cracks finally began to appear.
Lightning exploded from Lin Feng's body.
He planted the array flag into the ground and raised his hand to the sky.
BOOM!
A pillar of scarlet lightning descended, not wildly, but precisely—splitting into controlled branches that struck each attacker individually.
The Blood Demon Lord was forced to retreat several steps, blood qi churning as it neutralized the lightning coursing through his body.
The Baihu Patriarch crossed his arms, sliding backward through the earth as sparks danced across his metallic skin.
The Tian Jian Patriarch flicked his sword, dispersing the lightning arcs—but his brows furrowed. Lin Feng's control had sharpened.
The Human-Faced Spider Moved
Until now, the Human-Faced Spider Empress had remained still.
Suddenly, her eight legs pierced the ground.
Threads—nearly invisible spider silk infused with binding qi—spread beneath the battlefield. The moment Lin Feng shifted his footing, the silk tightened.
His movement slowed.
"Got you," she whispered, her human face smiling serenely.
But before the binding could fully activate—
Lightning surged inward instead of outward.
Lin Feng forcibly overloaded his meridians, releasing a violent lightning pulse that vaporized the silk around him. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but his eyes burned brighter.
"Your tricks aren't enough."
For the next several breaths, the battle tilted.
Lin Feng abandoned pure defense and began rotating the formation, redirecting attacks back at their sources. Blood qi was scattered by lightning currents. Sword arcs were bent midair. Even the Baihu Patriarch was forced to defend rather than attack.
One elder of the Eastern Sovereign Hall finally spoke.
"This cannot continue."
The Sect Master raised his hand.
The sky darkened—not from energy, but from pressure.
A massive seal formed above his palm, not divine, not world-breaking, but heavy with authority and refined qi. It descended steadily, suppressing lightning, formations, and momentum alike.
At the same moment, the eight elders attacked together.
One sealed space around Lin Feng's feet. Another disrupted lightning flow. Two struck directly at the formation's core nodes.
Crack—!
The defensive formation shattered.
Lin Feng was forced backward, lightning wings erupting from his back as he narrowly avoided a killing blow from the Blood Demon Lord.
He hovered in the air now, surrounded on all sides.
For the first time, his breathing grew heavy.
The Sect Master of the Eastern Sovereign Hall looked at him calmly.
"Lin Feng," he said, "today, there will be no escape."
Lightning flickered weakly around Lin Feng's fingers—but instead of fear, a dangerous smile slowly formed on his face.
"Who said," he replied quietly, "this was my final card?"
As he said that, he moved at lightning speed through the air, shooting like a star across the sky and aiming for one of the eight elders. This particular elder was a ranged attacker and thus remained at a distance from the others, making him the perfect target for Lin Feng.
As he moved like lightning, multiple vines of blood erupted from the ground, aiming to pierce him.
