Second Ability: Birth of a New Comic World When a manga artist's work is first published in a magazine, they will randomly obtain one thing (ability, knowledge, or item) that already exists in the clearly-conceived world of that manga. Each work can only trigger this once. The more popular the debut chapter and the higher its ranking in the magazine, the higher the level of what is obtained.
Third Ability: Hot-Blooded Manga The more the audience loves the work and the more famous it becomes the more abilities, knowledge, and items the artist will obtain from that manga's world.
Fourth Ability: Urge to Update The stronger the public's desire for new chapters (or their frustration at delays), the more abilities, knowledge, and items will be obtained.
Fifth Ability: End of the World When a manga concludes, three random items from the manga world will be obtained, their quality depending on the series' popularity and the public's reaction to the ending.
Ability Restrictions:–
The manga must be recognized by the public.
It must be created entirely by the artist.
No plagiarism or copying(can use manga's from Earth but not from the HxH world)
It must be made in manga format.
Only works appearing in the magazine rankings can receive the "first reward."
If the quality drops and many readers become dissatisfied, rewards may decrease, downgrade, or disappear.–
If the work becomes abandoned or ruined, all obtained abilities, knowledge, and items from that work will be taken back, and the author will be punished depending on severity.
Nen ability?!
Given Roy's obsessive love for comics, gaining a Nen ability made sense.
Every person emits a small amount of life energy, but most allow it to leak away unconsciously. The technique of controlling this energy called aura and using it in combat or defense is known as Nen.
Learning Nen is a requirement for becoming a true Hunter. Anyone can learn it, but because of how dangerous it is when misused, it's usually kept secret from the general public.
Roy awakening a Nen ability wasn't strange given that his obsession with comics is so great he died.
What was incredible was Roy's talent. There weren't many people who could obtain Nen at sixteen but there were certainly very few.
Yes, Killua and Gon awakened Nen at twelve or thirteen, but their upbringing was incomparable.
One was raised by one of the world's greatest Nen masters Ging Freecss whose father figure before him was part of a generation strong enough to challenge the Dark Continent.
The other was from the world's most infamous assassin family, receiving elite training from childhood.
Compared to them, Roy was an abused orphan with no proper foundation at all.
