( Chapter unfolds: 38 "book of elements power )
Izuma slowly began to turn the pages.
Those were no ordinary pages. They were ancient records written by someone who had once understood these powers deeply and had documented them with absolute clarity. With every turn of a page, wonder filled Izuma's eyes.
Every single line was incredibly precious. He started examining each page meticulously.
However, he couldn't maintain his focus for long; his eyes began to grow heavy. Exhaustion was clouding his vision. He hadn't slept properly in a long time. The deep silence of the room slowly lulled him toward sleep.
Izuma's eyes gradually closed, and he fell fast asleep right there, resting his head on the pages.
Although exhaustion overwhelmed him, he stayed awake. His eyes were half-closed, but the lines on those pages pulled him back. Fighting off sleep, he opened the scrolls and began to read.
The ancient book was extremely old; some pages were missing, and the rest were loose, barely holding together. Izuma carefully opened the book. It was about the Elemental Powers.
"The world is built upon five great forces: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and the Void. The powers of the Saphans originate from these elements.
What the Saphans use is not magic or anything else; it is a power equal to the elements that originates from within themselves. These powers exist only within the Chosen ones.
A human whose soul, character, emotions, and determination align with these elements can become a Saphan. Only they can wield these specific powers."
Izuma turned the pages. The book was a manuscript written long ago by someone who had deeply studied these elemental forces. Nobaya had given it to him because it clearly explained how they could awaken those powers.
However, Izuma could not finish reading it. This time, sleep clouded his eyes completely. Exhaustion finally defeated him, and he drifted off to sleep.
