The Fifth Hokage Tsunade, Fourth Raikage A, and Fifth Mizukage Mei teleported in using Flying Thunder God and Heavenly Transfer Techniques.
Seeing the battlefield littered with corpses, they realized—either defeat Madara or face extinction.
The Five Kage united to face him.
Tsunade healed Ōnoki, while the seasoned veteran devised their battle strategy based on each Kage's strengths.
Ōnoki and Raikage A served as the main attackers.
Mizukage Mei supported with offensive techniques.
Tsunade handled healing.
Gaara prepared the final sealing move.

Then, just as A throws a punch, Ōnoki uses Ultra-Heavy Rock Technique.
The boosted punch shatters Madara's Susanoo.
Ōnoki immediately summons a Rock Golem to restrain Madara.
But Madara counters with Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence, crushing the golem.
The Kage are overwhelmed dodging vines and pollen.
Madara appears behind them, smashing them into the forest.
Then, he uses Great Fire Annihilation, setting the entire forest ablaze.
Between the suffocating flames and toxic pollen, all five Kage are down.
They were nearly wiped out in the first round.
As Ōnoki drifted in and out of consciousness, he spotted a stone nearby.
Memories flashed through his mind like a slideshow.
He remembered the stone his mentor—the First Tsuchikage—told him to guard as a child.
He recalled the first time he met Madara, and the stone he gave up so easily.
Failure breaks resolve.
Madara's earlier suppression had shattered his will for peace.
He became entangled in war and hatred.
Now, with the villages finally united, he couldn't let Madara destroy it all again.
With newfound resolve, he used Dust Release: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu, disintegrating the forest and saving the others.
