Chapter 23 - Prosthetic

Theresa looked at the cheering players.

She could understand most of what these people said in their conversation.

But sometimes, these people's words suddenly become a chaotic cacophony.

Even if her language system turned on the anti-interference and interpretation functions, it could not eliminate the noise.

This abnormal phenomenon made her alert.

When Daniel saw Theresa's expression, he immediately thought that the player's abnormality had been noticed by her.

Daniel changed his mind and decided to be honest with the other party to gain his trust.

"Would it be convenient for us to talk alone? Magos Theresa, there are some things we need to discuss in a private place."

Faced with Daniel's invitation, Theresa hesitated for a moment and then nodded.

The metal walls were lined with a series of cogitator software and computing servitors, making a ticking sound.

More than a dozen projection interfaces floated in the air, emitting a pale white light.

Daniel and Theresa walked into the data control room.

This is far away from the player.

"I guess you've realized how unusual we are."

Daniel got straight to the point and didn't intend to waste time.

"In fact, those outside are not ordinary people, but Saints blessed by the God Emperor, walking among the stars as His will."

Daniel's words made Theresa's eyes widen, and a look of shock appeared on her face with the metal prosthesis implanted, but it quickly disappeared.

"Your words do not have sufficient data to prove that you are the chosen messengers of Omnissiah."

"Can this be proven?"

Daniel stretched out his hand and activated the skill **Emperor's Light**.

Golden light swirled between his fingers.

"Cadia has fallen. The evil forces of Chaos are invading the real universe on an unprecedented scale. Humanity will face the most terrifying and dark end times."

"But this is also an opportunity for humanity. The God Emperor is humanity's most powerful psychic. The emergence of the Great Rift not only strengthens those evil demons, but also grants Him greater power, allowing Him to do more."

"He chose me to become a living saint, to lead these Saints, to train them, and to prepare them for the final battle."

The servo skull connected to Theresa's spine flew out with a buzzing sound, scanning the light between Daniel's palms.

A large amount of data poured into Theresa's processing core.

Analysis results show that this light can make the machine spirit feel happy and suppress the creatures of the warp.

It is in perfect accordance with the characteristics of the Omnissiah power.

This sacred data phenomenon caused Theresa's computing power to increase dramatically.

The auxiliary logic module inside the brain operates at high speed.

Hot steam spurted out of the heat dissipation vents.

Daniel's nose moved, and he seemed to smell the smell of roasted flesh and blood.

He looked at Theresa with some concern, afraid that the other party would burn his brain.

After waiting for a long time, Theresa finished thinking and made a judgment.

She decided to trust the man in front of her.

After all, it can't be any worse than the current situation.

In this desperate age of chaos and darkness, the emergence of a group of Omnissiah's Saints is not unacceptable.

"Holy Omnissiah, what should I address you as?"

Theresa humbly lowered her head to Daniel, and the sound of spinal gears turning echoed in the noisy data control room.

Daniel breathed a sigh of relief. If Theresa had been stubborn, he would have been doomed.

Now the entire area's automatic weapons system is in her hands.

The other party can smash them into pieces with just a thought.

"You can call me your guide. Thank you for your trust, Father Theresa. I believe that with your help, we can more smoothly complete the mission of the Emperor and protect humanity from evil."

"I will do my best to assist you, Your Excellency the Guide. What is our next mission?" "The most urgent task is to eliminate the surface rebels and help the loyalists regain control of the planet Atomal. How much do you know about the situation on the surface?"

Theresa shook her head. "I know nothing about the war situation on the surface."

"The communication system in Lycard space has been damaged by the virus code released by the rebels and has gone offline. It is unable to receive information from the ground and the void."

"Then how did you contact us?" Daniel was a little curious.

"I have a small communication module in my body that can transmit data and communicate within a certain distance."

Daniel looked thoughtful.

After weighing the pros and cons, he decided to take back the Lycard Space Station first before heading to the surface.

Lycard Space Station has a large port and dock.

The Imperial Glory can be overhauled here and its ammunition and supplies replenished.

Players can also get more space for activities here.

"Theresa, which forging world are you from?" Daniel asked.

"I come from Triple Farr, a forge world at the edge of the galaxy."

Theresa's words surprised Daniel.

Being chosen by the Emperor to be his slave, he is naturally a Warhammer fan who knows all the intelligence about the Empire.

Triple Fal is also a forge world with a story in Warhammer.

This forge world is located on the very edge of the Ultramarine Segmentum in the eastern part of the Milky Way.

Because it is too far away from Mars, it has been in an autonomous state for a long time.

They have a lot of dark technology and their products will also be supplied to the Imperial Army.

But they never shared their knowledge with Mars.

Past delegations to Mars have either returned empty-handed or brought back blueprints that lacked important details.

Such behavior made the great sages of Mars very angry.

Daniel was very satisfied with Theresa's background.

After all, most of the things players do are unorthodox.

Ruotina is a Martian conservative, so she will have a lot of trouble in the future.

"By the way, do you understand bio-enhancement, prosthetic implants, and weapon maintenance?"

Theresa nodded. "I'm a maintenance priest. I need to maintain machinery and build servitors, so naturally I know these basic skills."

"Very good. From now on, you are the owner of the Prosthetic Shop. Saints will use the contribution points earned from completing missions to purchase your products."

"When the time comes, you can also issue tasks to have them do things for you."

Daniel and Theresa explained the contribution point system in detail.

And give her the secondary authority to publish tasks.

"By the Lord Omnissiah," Theresa said, looking bewildered. "Why go to so much trouble? Isn't it their job to obey orders?"

"They are somewhat different." Daniel paused, "They are Saints of the God Emperor, and each of them has his own ideas."

"I don't know why the God Emperor did this. His wisdom is beyond my comprehension."

"The only thing I can do is to find a way to guide these Saints and have them complete the tasks assigned by the Emperor."

Daniel stuffed the part he couldn't explain to the emperor.

Given the current level of fanaticism in the Empire's faith in the Emperor, it is estimated that no one would dare to question it.

"I don't understand this, but I will follow your orders."

Theresa was a little confused by Daniel's words.

But out of trust, she still planned to believe Daniel and carry out all the orders he gave.
