Goku's breathing began to quicken.
Images of his companions dying flashed uncontrollably through his mind.
"Then," Loren continued calmly, "the enemy finds your home."
"He grabs Chi-Chi and Gohan right in front of you."
Goku's fists clenched tightly.
"You try your hardest, but you can't even get close to him."
"You can only watch helplessly."
"Gohan cries out for his dad."
"Chi-Chi looks at you in despair."
"But you're completely powerless."
"Then the enemy releases an energy blast."
"Gohan and Chi-Chi disappear before your eyes."
"Nothing is left."
"Shut up!!"
"No!!"
Goku let out a pained roar, his eyes instantly turning bloodshot.
Boom—!
An unprecedented golden aura erupted violently from Goku's body.
The shockwave swept up dust and fallen leaves, blasting outward in all directions.
Goku's black hair stood on end, instantly turning a brilliant gold.
Super Saiyan!
He succeeded.
Feeling the overwhelming power surging through his body, Goku stared blankly at his hands.
The anger on his face slowly gave way to shock and disbelief.
Nearby, Vegeta was completely stunned.
He stared at the golden figure before him, feeling the crushing pressure of power far beyond his own.
His mind went blank.
Jealousy.
Pure, uncontrollable jealousy.
Why?!
Why was it Kakarot again?!
Why did this low-class warrior always reach it first—again and again?!
Loren looked at Goku, who had successfully transformed, and nodded in satisfaction.
Finally. It worked.
The golden aura around Goku slowly faded, and he returned to normal.
Still unfamiliar with the power, his body swayed slightly.
He looked at Loren with deep gratitude.
"Loren… thank you."
He bowed deeply.
Vegeta's expression shifted again and again.
Finally—very reluctantly—he lowered his head slightly toward Loren as well.
The facts were undeniable.
Loren waved his hand impatiently.
"Alright, alright. Hurry up and go."
"Don't disturb my peaceful life."
Goku and Vegeta said nothing more and flew off.
After traveling a long distance, Vegeta glanced at Goku beside him.
"Kakarot."
"Just you wait."
"I will soon—no, I will definitely surpass you!"
With that, Vegeta turned into a streak of light and shot straight toward Capsule Corporation without looking back.
Loren watched them disappear into the sky, stretched lazily, and yawned.
Finally… it's quiet again.

Inside the Gravity Room, the metal walls vibrated violently under the terrifying energy within.
Red numbers on the display screen flickered wildly before stabilizing at a suffocating value.
This was gravity powerful enough to flatten steel into thin pancakes.
Vegeta knelt on the cold metal floor.
Every muscle and bone in his body groaned under unbearable pressure.
Sweat mixed with blood seeping from his pores formed a dark red puddle beneath him.
"Still… not enough…"
"Why…"
"Why is it that low-class warrior Kakarot again?!"
"AAAAAHHH—!!"
Vegeta let out a beast-like roar, forcing his body to rise with his last bit of strength.
Crack.
His left arm, unable to endure both gravity and strain, let out a sharp sound as bone fractured.
Just as Vegeta's consciousness was about to be swallowed by darkness—

Alarms blared throughout the Gravity Room.
The metal door hissed as pressure released, sliding open.
"Vegeta!"
Bulma rushed in—and froze at the sight before her.
Vegeta was covered in blood, curled on the floor, breathing faintly.
A sharp pain struck Bulma's heart, mixed with emotions she couldn't name.
Her relationship with Yamcha—long dead in all but name—had finally ended days ago.
Looking at Vegeta, who was pushing himself to the edge of despair just to become stronger, Bulma suddenly realized something.
This Saiyan Prince was arrogant, conceited, and cruel.
But that purity—
That obsession—
That relentless drive—
It held a fatal attraction she couldn't look away from.
