Chapter 211 - Chapter 211: Magical Girls, Weapons, and Preparations

Izumi couldn't help but smile wryly at Aihara Enju's words.

"You… like that kind of thing?"

Enju nodded without the slightest hesitation.

"Of course! There isn't a single kid who doesn't like magical girls!"

She leaned forward eagerly, her eyes sparkling.

"Hey, oniisan—can you transform too?"

The others immediately turned their hopeful gazes toward him as well.

If he really could transform, that would be the coolest thing ever.

Izumi sighed.

"…Alright, alright. I'll make something for you."

"Give me a moment."

With that, he got to work.

This wasn't the first time he'd done something like this. He'd already made similar items twice before—stuffing functions into rings or necklaces was absurdly easy for him now. Compared to a full transformation device, this was nothing more than a slight variation.

In fact, the process was so simple that it barely took any effort at all.

Only a short while later, Izumi was finished.

And while he was at it, he'd gone a step further—preparing several extra weapons as well.

Submachine guns.

Handguns.

Sniper rifles.

Even magical energy cannons.

On top of that, every transformation device contained a built-in emergency teleportation function. If the girls ever found themselves in real danger, they would be transported back instantly.

Izumi handed the finished items to the girls.

Hairpins.

Bracelets.

Pendants.

Wristbands.

The moment they received them, the girls' excitement exploded.

"Ooooh! A transformation device!"

"Too bad it's not a ring…"

Enju pouted unhappily.

"A ring would've been better."

Even so, she immediately placed the hairpin onto her head, stood up straight, and shouted with righteous enthusiasm:

"Henshin!!"

Light burst forth.

In an instant, a complete set of equipment materialized around her body.

Enju froze—then her face lit up.

"Hehehe… this is amazing!"

"It's amazing! I love these shoes!"

She hopped lightly, eyes shining.

"With these, I can jump even higher!"

Aihara Enju possessed rabbit-type traits; her legs were incredibly powerful, allowing her to leap great distances. Paired with Hermes' Boots, not only could she run faster—she could jump even higher than before.

And that wasn't all.

Izumi had also equipped her fists with reinforced gauntlets.

Defense, mobility, offense—everything was covered.

The others were no less excited, carefully examining their own weapons.

These were gifts from Izumi, after all—treasures they genuinely cherished.

And when they learned that the weapons didn't even require ammunition, their excitement doubled.

At that moment, Izumi spoke up again.

"Enju, Midori—your wristbands also contain spatial storage equipment."

"If monsters drop magic stones or materials, just store them inside."

"It'll save you time."

Both girls nodded seriously.

"I… I'll do my best," Fuse Midori said softly.

Still as shy as ever, she quickly pulled her shrine maiden hat down to hide her reddening face.

Izumi chuckled.

"Alright. Next—Hestia."

He turned to the goddess.

"Please take them out and help them get familiar with the city."

"I've got work to do here."

He didn't plan to waste time. With everything ready, he intended to finish setting up the shop today and open for business tomorrow.

Hestia nodded instinctively—

then froze.

"Um… could you give me some money?"

Her voice trailed off.

"I… I don't have any…"

Tears welled up in her eyes.

A goddess… broke to this extent.

Izumi's mouth twitched. With a casual wave of his hand, a large bag appeared and landed in his grasp.

He tossed it to her.

"Use this. If you run out, just tell me."

Hestia caught the bag—and her eyes went wide.

"Th-This is way too much!!"

At least ten million Walis.

Just… handed to her like that.

Izumi waved it off.

"I said I'd take care of you, didn't I?"

"Take them out, have some fun."

"If you see something you like, buy it. And make sure you all eat well."

Then he added,

"Kanon, you go too. I'll be fine here on my own."

Kanon nodded. She'd been wanting to explore the city for a while now.

Hestia opened her mouth to say something else—but Enju suddenly grabbed her hand.

"Honestly, Hestia-chan, why are you hesitating?"

"Come on, let's go already! Don't be such a grandma!"

Before Hestia could protest, Enju dragged her straight out the door.

Kanon hurried after them.

...

Once they were gone, Izumi finally got to work.

He headed down to the first floor and casually waved his hand.

Purification magic activated.

In an instant, the grimy, dust-filled shop was spotless.

Next came Authority: Object Creation.

Display stands.

A cashier's counter.

Shelving.

They appeared one after another.

Even the floors and walls were replaced with brand-new materials.

Izumi surveyed the result and couldn't help muttering,

"With this kind of power, not becoming an interior designer is honestly a waste."

He sighed—then got straight to work again.

Weapons began to take shape.

None of them were legendary artifacts, but their durability was unquestionable. While they couldn't quite compare to weapons forged by a certain one-eyed god, they were still far above average.

Swords, spears, lances, halberds, daggers—

every type of weapon was present.

The only thing missing was armor.

Once that was done, Izumi projected several top-tier weapons behind the counter.

First—

Durandal, also known as the Sword of the Angel.

The moment it appeared, an overwhelming aura filled the shop. It was obvious at a glance that this was no ordinary weapon.

He placed it in the back display, then projected more Noble Phantasms.

Gáe Bolg.

The Black Bow.

They served as the shop's crown jewels.

And, with a mischievous grin, Izumi even created replicas of weapons like Elucidator and Dark Repulser.

Their quality was below true Noble Phantasms—but still rivaled C-rank Noble Phantasms, minus True Name Release.

Izumi nodded in satisfaction as he looked around the shop.

In this world, weapons were consumables.

And his goal was simple—

Exchange weapons for dungeon materials.

Then use those materials to craft whatever he desired.

Object Creation had its limits, after all. There were things he couldn't create unless he fully understood their structure.

Sure, he could recreate complete Noble Phantasms thanks to his past with Unlimited Blade Works—

—but if he wanted something like the Hyperion or a Gundam, that would require heavy modification and alchemy.

He could brute-force it slowly with Object Creation…

but nothing beat the satisfaction of building something once with your own hands, then recreating it instantly afterward.

That was why he was doing all this.

Resources.

His system hadn't been upgraded in ages.

At this rate, it was practically gathering dust.
