Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: The Explosion Girl Is Found

After leaving his temporary residence, Izumi headed back toward the Adventurers' Guild.

The Boosted Gear had already been handed over to Eris.

Though seeing a legendary Sacred Gear—one capable of killing gods—reduced to a bust-enhancement device was undeniably bizarre…

Izumi didn't particularly care.

If he wanted, he could create several thousand replicas without breaking a sweat.

As for whether Vali Lucifer would feel the urge to punch someone senseless if he ever saw that scene—

Yeah, that wasn't Izumi's problem.

Walking through the streets of the town, Izumi noticed students who had already changed into this world's equipment heading in and out of the city.

Many of them were acting exactly like gamers—approaching local NPCs to look for quests.

Watching them treat an actual world like a game made Izumi sigh.

"…They're really enjoying themselves."

Just as that thought crossed his mind, the bracelet on his wrist vibrated.

Yui Yuigahama:

[@Izumi, Izumi-kun, is this the person you were looking for in your request?]

"…Hm?"

Izumi stopped.

The image showed a familiar girl—Megumin—collapsed face-down on the ground, looking utterly miserable.

Nearby, Yukino Yukinoshita and the others were standing around, watching.

Yui had seen the request Izumi posted earlier, and when they ran into Megumin, she wasn't sure—so she asked in the group chat.

That single message instantly ignited the group.

Gabriel Tenma White:

[A legendary hidden NPC? Does she give special rewards?]

[Also selling buffs—100 yen per cast.]

[Gabriel has been muted for 10 minutes]

Izumi muted her without hesitation.

Raphiel Shiraha Ainsworth:

[Gabriel-chan, your buffs aren't worth much anymore. Asia-chan has better ones now♪]

Hachiman Hikigaya:

[Black-hearted merchant angel.]

Vignette Tsukinose April:

[This angel is beyond saving. Please carry her out.]

The chat exploded into chaos—complaints, banter, information trades.

Honestly, the group chat had become incredibly useful.

Izumi ignored the noise and focused on the photo Yui sent.

After confirming the location, he took a single step—

And vanished.

In the next instant, he appeared right beside Yui Yuigahama.

"Eh?! Izumi-kun?! You're here already?!"

Yui nearly jumped out of her skin.

The others were equally shocked.

There wasn't even a magic circle—he'd just appeared.

Yukino Yukinoshita stared at him in disbelief.

"…That kind of power is absurd."

Izumi nodded calmly.

"You helped me a lot."

"I'll give you the quest reward later."

Yui hurriedly waved her hands.

"N-No! You don't have to!"

"It was nothing, really!"

There was no way she'd take his money—she still wanted to cling to this thigh for dear life.

Izumi chuckled.

"In that case, just learn any skill you want from me."

Instead of money, he simply displayed his skill list.

The moment Yui saw it, her eyes went wide.

Especially the mosaic-covered level and skill point count.

"…You're kidding, right?"

"Max level?"

"Or is this a bug?"

Izumi didn't explain.

"Pick."

"Learn everything you can."

"I'm leaving after this."

Panicking slightly, Yui immediately started browsing the skills.

Her skill points were limited—she could probably learn two or three at most.

What she wanted most was Resurrection.

But even dumping all her points into it wouldn't be enough.

Reluctantly, she looked elsewhere.

Honestly, she wanted all of Izumi's skills.

She hesitated, clearly torn.

Seeing that, Izumi gave her a nudge.

"You're a healer."

"So you need Healing, Stat Enhancement, and Dispel."

"These three are the most suitable for you."

"Anything else is either too expensive or useless for now."

With that, Izumi stopped talking.

Her points wouldn't allow more than three anyway.

Healing, buffs, and status removal—perfect support coverage.

No one else interfered.

Skill selection was a personal matter.

After thinking it over, Yui nodded.

"Then I'll take Dispel, Stat Enhancement, and Magic Resistance."

"I already have a healing talent skill, so I can't learn Healing anyway."

Izumi didn't comment.

He simply pulled the skills out and made them available.

Yui immediately invested all her skill points.

As the knowledge settled into her mind, her eyes sparkled.

"…I won't be dead weight anymore."

Next, Izumi looked at Yukino Yukinoshita, Asagi Aiba, and the others in the party.

Holding up the skill card, he asked,

"What about you?"

"You all found her together, so you're entitled to learn as well."

They exchanged glances, then stepped forward without hesitation.

No one was stupid—skill points were scarce, so each of them chose abilities that complemented the group and weren't duplicated.

Yukino learned Freeze and Cursed Ice Crystal.

The others picked Barrier, Exorcism, Purification, and Repair.

Finally, it was Asagi Aiba's turn.

Just as she stepped forward—

Izumi suddenly pulled the card back.

Asagi froze.

"…Huh?"

Izumi smiled.

"You don't need to learn any of these."

"Asagi, your talent lies elsewhere."

Asagi stared at him.

"…You know my talent?"

Izumi nodded slowly.

"You're specialized in networks, aren't you?"

"And you possess a Divine Artifact that makes you effectively invincible in cyberspace."

"Learning these skills would be a waste."

Asagi's Divine Artifact immediately reminded Izumi of something akin to an advanced AI.

If she gained esper powers from the To Aru world, her massive processing ability could probably push her straight to Level 6.

Or if she learned magic from the Irregular at Magic High School world—

With that computational power, she could easily deploy strategic-class magic.

Compared to that, these fantasy skills were meaningless.

Instead—

"…Wouldn't developing mechs be more fun?"

Izumi smiled faintly as Asagi stood there, completely stunned.
