Chapter 158 - Chapter 158: Judgment of the False World

One after another, Avrora Florestina dragged the girls out of the city.

Whether they were Cursed Children living beside civil officers or filthy, starving girls hiding in forgotten alleyways—she left none behind.

Using her Primogenitor abilities, she swept the entire region like a silver storm, pulling every last Cursed Child into the open.

As time passed, the number of girls gathered in front of Izumi grew larger and larger.

Some stared at him with frightened eyes, others with curiosity—but without exception, he sent every single one of them into his inner world.

Those who were severely injured were immediately handed over to Aisia, who began treatment without hesitation.

Missing limbs, shattered bones, blinded eyes—there was no shortage of horrors among them.

The more Izumi saw, the darker his expression became.

As expected… there really are no decent humans in this world.

With growing irritation, Izumi raised his hand.

In the next instant, the Subspace Spears unleashed a full volley.

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.

Explosions erupted across the cityscape. In moments, entire blocks vanished under the barrage.

Countless lives were snuffed out instantly.

Izumi exhaled sharply.

"I knew it. Showing mercy to people like you is pointless."

He turned to Avrora.

"Avrora, is that everyone?"

She nodded firmly.

"All brought out."

Then, with uncharacteristic anger, she clenched her fists.

"Hurry and destroy these disgusting humans, Izumi. They're not worth keeping alive."

Through her Beast Vassals, she had witnessed even more than Izumi had.

Her mood was anything but pleasant.

If Izumi hadn't forbidden her from attacking the city, she would have launched an annihilation assault long ago.

Izumi swept his gaze over the collected girls.

Just in this single district alone, there were tens of thousands of Cursed Children.

And among all of them, almost none were unharmed.

Filthy, bruised, wounded—some barely recognizable as children.

He even recognized several familiar faces from the "Black Bullet" story.

Aihara Enju.

Mibu Asaka.

Except now, they carried none of the innocence or playfulness he remembered—only numbness.

Izumi expanded his perception, scanning the entire city with pinpoint precision.

After confirming that not a single Cursed Child remained within the ruins, he rose to his feet.

He turned to Senju Kayo, who stood beside him.

"Kayo-chan, today I'll show you the power of a Demon King."

"You don't mind if I kill everyone in that city, right?"

Kayo looked up at him, then glanced at the burning city in the distance.

She shook her head.

"No problem at all."

"Whatever you want to do, Onii-sama, I'll support you."

"Onii-sama is our savior. Everything you do is correct."

Senju Kayo was far from naïve—her IQ was over 210.

She fully understood why Izumi was furious, and she had no attachment to the people who had tormented the Cursed Children.

Following Izumi, living in luxury, safety, and happiness—why would she care about anyone else's life?

Hearing her wholeheartedly supportive words, Izumi smiled.

"Then let the judgment begin."

"You hypocrites… allow me to erase your entire existence."

Izumi's golden eyes ignited, the pupils shifting into a radiant cross.

This was the sign of the Herrscher of Void core reaching maximum output.

From the air behind him, countless Subspace Bands materialized and swept toward the city like blinding blades.

In an instant, the entire city was cleanly bisected.

Skyscrapers toppled like dominoes.

Streets collapsed into ravines.

Flames burst upward into the darkened sky.

Behind him, the mass of swirling black Subspace Gates gathered dense, destructive energy—then poured it down upon what remained of the city.

A second wave of annihilation crashed downward.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The world shook.

The final human stronghold was engulfed in a hellish sea of fire.

Tendō Kikunojo, fleeing with the trembling Seitenshi, froze mid-air.

He stared at the burning wasteland behind him, his expression drained of all color.

"He… he really did it…"

Seitenshi collapsed to the ground, unable to stand. Her watery eyes gazed at the ruins of her capital.

Izumi paid no attention to their despair.

Right now, destruction was the only thing on his mind.

He wanted to tear this corrupt world apart.

Snapping his fingers lightly—

Dozens of Noble Phantasms, perfectly projected, manifested around him and plunged into the burning ruins.

Then—

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Mushroom clouds billowed upward, visible even from the distant training zone.

Le Fay and the others stopped what they were doing, staring at the towering explosions.

"…Izumi's blowing something up again, huh?"

Kato Megumi sighed tiredly, instantly recognizing the spectacle.

Aside from Izumi, who else would bombard an entire city to this extent?

Back at the burning perimeter—

"Demon…"

"He's a demon!!"

Seitenshi screamed, her face twisted with despair.

Her home—her city—her people—all gone within moments.

Those who survived by pure chance were just as stunned.

Izumi had destroyed the entire city in seconds.

The remaining civil officers snapped.

Driven by grief and rage, they charged toward him with suicidal determination.

Leading them was the protagonist of the original story—

Rentarō Satomi.

"Damn you!!"

"Why?! Why would you do this?!"

Ignoring the attempts to hold him back, he leapt high into the air, aiming straight for Izumi.

Izumi blinked.

A question mark practically appeared above his head.

Before Rentarō could even get close, a Subspace Spear pierced him cleanly.

"So this is just you trying to be relevant?"

Izumi had zero fondness for the canon protagonist.

If anything, he felt mild irritation.

A golden arc swept downward.

Rentarō Satomi was sliced cleanly in half—without fanfare, without suspense, without even a ripple of emotion.

Izumi didn't spare him another glance.

His focus shifted to a group of political figures being escorted by Tendō Kikunojo.

"Oh? All of you came together?"

"Perfect. Saves me the trouble of hunting you down."

He pointed lazily.

"Allow me to send you on your way."

Subspace Spears shot forward.

SHIK! SHIK! SHIK!

All the politicians were skewered instantly—everyone except the stunned Seitenshi.

A girl emerging from the rubble watched Kikunojo die and felt… relief.

Liberation.

Seitenshi, meanwhile, stared blankly at the bodies.

Everyone who came with her—eliminated in moments.

Izumi surveyed the scene.

Almost no survivors remained.

The ones still alive were either extremely lucky or intentionally spared by him.

To Izumi, they were irrelevant.

He had only come to this world for the Cursed Children.

Everyone else—hero or heroine—was just cannon fodder.

With Kayo at his side, Izumi descended gracefully to the scorched earth.

Behind them, humanity's last stronghold continued to burn until nothing remained but fire.
