Once Freya was done showering and changing into some clean clothes, Elisa and her headed back to the mansion. Along the way, Elisa gave her a mini tour of everything they passed by.
They soon entered the mansion just as General Markson appeared, walking over to them. He was clearly heading over to the gym to call them over for lunch.
And the moment the bear beastman spotted Elisa, his stern looks seemed to have softened. Xavier was silently following behind him, a folded piece of paper in his hand.
Which quickly disappeared into his inner coat pocket.
The action made Freya curious as to what was written on it. Perhaps it was related to that important thing General Markson needed to discuss with Xavier.
"I was just about to call you for lunch." General Markson murmured softly to his wife the moment they met in the middle of the hallway.
