April's POV:
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The violent bangs were not stopping anytime soon.
I looked at Yuri and Keifer in horror. Yuri stormed to the door and swung it open
. Just as he looked down, he saw someone similar to Ethan..
6 foot, same glasses, sharp jawline. WHO IS THAT BRUH?
He was sitting on the floor, and his eyes were red. His cheeks was flushed, and he sobbed.
Yuri went forward to look at him. I gripped his arm.
"Wait." I went forward and knelt down, "Ethan?"
The guy stared at me, tears flowing down his cheek freely. His sobbing gradually subsided into whimpers.
"...e-eth-a-an.." he said, stuttering. "He... He was taken by... He-he.."
I leaned forward to face him directly, I stared at him.
Yuri kept a hand on my shoulder, his face screaming 'no-funny-business-back-off-April'
I looked at him "Yuri..."
He didn't listen to my words, Keifer came forward standing beside Yuri.
He literally glared at me. Tch.. that glare could melt steel.
The guy, still sobbing looked at Keifer.
"He... he was taken.. dragged.. some.. ra-random.. person p-pul-pulled him ins-inside a v-van... Eth-ethan.."
Keifer looked at the two of us, and then back to that guy. "How did he look."
"A tatt-tattoo of an.. elephant? me.. I'm E-ethan's br..bro..brother.. and we both were walking to.. the cafè, a-and someone came.. I tried.. tried.. to pull him back.. but-"
"Tattoo of an elephant." Keifer looked at me. "Ram."
I looked back at him, I knew it. Ram.
That damn ulupong.. Damn it! I looked at Yuri, "seems like fight starts after a year...?"
Yuri smiled at me, "Sure.. sure.. let's f go!"
And.. that's when fate decided the end of Ram. The whole Section E left, I locked the door.. putting the PIN in again. Just as we marched to the parking, Ethan's brother spoke:
"Are you goi-going to sav-save Et-ethan?"
"Yes." Yuri answered. His tone firm, he sure was determined to break Ram's nose...
The second the parking lot came into view, Yuri was already yanking open a car door. No hesitation, no backup plan. Just pure fury coiled in every movement.
Keifer slid into the driver's seat without a word, engine waking up to life like it sensed his mood.
Felix, Kit, Mayo, Eman and Denzel piled in behind them while Ci-N bounced impatiently on his toes outside.
"Wait. WAIT!" Ethan's brother stumbled forward suddenly grabbing my sleeve with shaking hands. "You can't just go alone! They, they'll kidnap you too!"
I paused mid-step toward my car but didn't pull away yet… until Keifer slammed his palm against the roof of the car hard enough to make us all flinch.
"We know what we're doing." His voice left zero room for argument as he locked eyes with Ethan's sobbing brother through rearview mirror glare alone could peel paint off walls right now…
And then? Then something shifted behind those tears when realization hit:
We weren't some reckless kids charging headfirst blindly after revenge fantasy scenarios they'd watched play out dozen times anime and dramas…
Nope.
This? This is Section E.
Three cars. One spot. Sector D. Ram's place.
We started, going there as fast as possible (no rule-breaking by overspeeding)
Just as we were halfway, my phone rang. I tossed it to Josh, who was sitting in the backseat, alongside Calix and Drew. He took the call. Ram's voice, sharp as a knife.
"Coming to see me?" Ram's voice carried an eerie tone.
"Oh, oh.. Ram." I spoke into the phone. "Let. Go. Of. Ethan. NOW."
"If I don't?" Ram said, his smirk easily recognisable.
"Be ready to lose your nose." I said, in a cold tone.
"Ah, ah.." Ram laughed. "Now? Should I take it as a threat?"
"Take it as a warning. If you don't, we'll make sure that the 16 of Section E are the people who you see in your last breath."
Ram wheezed, like I said something amusing.
"HAHA, nice joke. See you."
