The massive ore arms collided violently, sending out a deafening roar. The force of the impact seemed to instantaneously clear the surrounding air, and an invisible shockwave exploded outward!
At the same time, water splashed everywhere. The impact sent droplets scattering in all directions, yet the majority of the droplets didn't travel far. Instead, as if pulled by some invisible force, they arced through the air and gathered on a patch of ground about ten meters away.
In an instant, all the droplets condensed into a humanoid shape. Yuuki emerged from the water-formed state, landing steadily on the ground.
"So it's not purely physical damage," he muttered, steadying himself. A wry smile tugged at his lips as he wiped away a trickle of blood from his mouth.
The terrifying strike from earlier wasn't just a physical blow. Both of the massive ore arms were infused with a magical field, allowing the strike to still have some effect even after Yuuki turned into water.
His only relief: Yuuki's magical power, though slightly below that of Mars—the Shining General—was not so inferior as to be completely overwhelmed. Otherwise, against a weaker opponent, such a strike might have outright turned him into water.
Yuuki knew that the minor injury was not a question of strength but of experience. Ever since obtaining his grimoire, he had fought very few high-level mages. The only previous encounter had been with the Chain Magic user, Revchi Salik.
Yet instead of worrying, Yuuki's eyes sparkled.

The massive ore arms retracted, and a colossal figure stepped out of the dust. Over four meters tall, irregular ore plates formed its monstrous body. The sheer presence radiated overwhelming authority and menace.

Mars's entire body was protected within layers of ore, leaving only his head and a small part of his shoulders exposed.
Yuuki's eyes flicked toward the towering figure. The sight of Mars entirely encased in ore made him unconsciously tense.
He briefly questioned whether choosing Mars as a benchmark for his own strength had been a mistake. Even a single layer of ordinary ore armor would be difficult to break. Now, with Mars completely encased, piercing his defenses would be no easy feat.

Yuuki considered drawing the Demon-Dweller Sword, but the thought was immediately suppressed.

The appearance of a third magic forced Mars to take Yuuki seriously as a rival.
"I never said I only had two magics," Yuuki said, clenching his fists and smiling faintly.
"Weakness—die!"
Mars's expression was icy.
Bang!
The foot of the massive ore body slammed down and exploded the ground. Mars lunged forward with the ore body. Despite its enormous size, it moved with incredible agility.
Each step spanned five or six meters. By the second step, he had reached Yuuki, swinging a massive fist with tremendous momentum.
"Ice Magic: Heavenly Ice Fang!"
Yuuki raised his arm. Ice mana surged, forming a thick spike from the ground to collide with the ore fist.
Rumble!
The harsh sound of collision echoed through the air.
Mars didn't stop. His other fist slammed down as well.
Boom!
Another massive ice spike shot up to block the strike.
Yuuki slammed his foot into the ground, unleashing an explosion of mana that launched him upward. Rather than retreating, he surged forward.
In two leaps, Yuuki reached the chest of the ore giant, stepping on irregular protrusions to ascend toward Mars's exposed head.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Two tremendous gusts of air followed from behind.
Mars had retracted his ore arms, slamming them down toward Yuuki at his chest. Yuuki twisted midair, flipping head downward, aiming his hands below.
"Wind Magic: Tower of Storms!"
Whoosh!
A raging gale instantly condensed into a colossal tornado, wrapping closely around the ore giant.
Despite its weight, the ore body staggered under the centrifugal force, unable to resist the tornado's pull.
Yuuki's body, unsupported in the air, was pushed by the wind, regaining balance mid-flight.
"Wind-Fire Combination Magic: Roaring Tornado!"
Yuuki shouted, condensing a fireball in his palm and hurling it into the tornado.
Boom!
The tornado's intensity surged two to three times with the addition of fire, engulfing the massive ore giant entirely.
A blazing pillar shot skyward, radiating fierce heat and light.
The enormous fire tornado rapidly raised the surrounding temperature while violently clearing the air around its center.
